Thanks gforce about your comnents about the speed warning function on the gps... trialled it today and it is great... especially if I venture over into victoria.... as she is tougher on your speed than victorian police.... she only gives you about 20 metres grace after a speed change before she speaks up.

Just created a new thread for Aus 2014 owners to list their problems.

2014 Grand Cherokee Problems - Australia

I want this thread to be more factual in order to gauge the scope of issues so please don't make comments, suggestions or possible fixes.

Just list your variant and brief description of the problem.

I will regulary post links to that thread on the Jeep Au Facebook page, to keep them happy and maybe get them to pull their finger out.

Have you got your towbar and did you get a Mopar or an aftermarket. Whats your boat for skiing or fishing. I'll be towing a boat also, for fishing, I do a bit of trout fishing with the long wand (fly fishing). I tow mine to Tas and back.

Adjust the wheel on the right side near the door at knee height. One stop down on the wheel, all good. Happened to me on day two of owning my Laredo CRD, ORAII + QL.

Was happily driving along and all of a sudden no UC and no dash!!!! WTF I go, great only 2 days old and I have a problem. All sorted with a bit of investigation.

Wow, not too sure I want to read the thread anymore just incase I get jinxed. So far BaaBaaa has been wonderful. Well except for the chip in the windscreen. I also do have something loose rolling around under the floorboards close to the centre pillar on the drivers side. I have pulled the carpet up and placed an inspection camera in and can't find where it is coming from. I would agree though with posters on other threads that the bass is a bit too high on the stereo.

Other than that BaaBaaa just rocks. My wifer still has 2 more years to go to get her psychology degree, I am afraid it may be too late for me. I will look outside and see the car there lonely and feel bad so I will go out and listen to a few songs with her. Done it twice tonight.

Yes, this happened to me two days in to owning the car also. The dash and the UC go blank. It's the little bubble sensor that sits in the middle of the bottom of the windscreen. It's too sensitive to the outside light when in Auto mode.

As per adriwood's post - adjust the little wheel near your right hand knee, to max illumination on the dash and the UC, although I just drive with it in Off mode now. Husband always switches it to Auto though.

This however, is not Pharmaboy's issue. If he has the check engine light on - then that's something a whole lot different.

No towbar.... but will start calling local suppliers to see if they are quicker than jeep in being able to fit & supply.

We try to get up the river or on the coorong 3 out of 4 weekends from october to april.... for tubing skiing etc

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Have been surfing the USA UCONNECT update site but we appear to be discussing completely different problems. Willx on the site is the Uconnect specialist. I don't want to read 60 plus pages so I am asking whether any one from Oz has posted any of our problems on this site as interested to hear what response you were given.
