Thanks
Wish I could assist you, I have an iPhone 4s and it has paired perfectly, I have full access to all my music via USB and Bluetooth, oh and it accepts phone calls as well.

Have you had any problems pairing your phone with other devices? or have you checked if there is a software update for your phone as this is one of the most common causes of problems with pairing?

Maybe someone here who has an Android my be able to offer you some advice.

It's a limited Webber, but I fitted 3m black gloss vinyl over the grill , but preserved the chrome insets.

I was also going to do the wheels, but that has proven a bit tricky the way I wanted to do it. ( next rainy Sunday perhaps)

That's good. I can only talk about '07 WK but I got used to the CEL coming on in the first 6 months. Crazy stuff. Dealership couldn't figure it out - They ended up replacing the Catalytic Converter but that as it turned out had nothing to do with it. The CEL still came on. Bless them.

My husband ended up buying a scanner thingee from the US that allowed him to pull the codes. (I wonder where that is - must dig it out - I wonder if it would work with the MY14? - Not that we need it at this point).

The codes indicated nothing more than a faulty fuel cap and fuel emission errors. It went out after about 2 months after the CC had been replaced and has never come back on.

We haven't had an issue in about 4 1/2 odd years now. She's still going strong although she did need a new strut the other day to pass the pink slip inspection.

I noticed that the '07 manual says the CEL (should it come on) should go out within 3 driving cycles. I took a quick look at the '14 manual advice to compare. It doesn't state the number of driving cycles anymore - just states that it should be fine to drive it but take it to a dealership for checking. Yeah - ok.

A flashing CEL is bad though. I only experienced that once on '07 and I lost all power. A bit like a VW.

That is why it was mentioned the manufacturers site was checked.
The Amazon selector comes back negative, but their won site says that part fits.
Hitch Selector - Hidden Hitch

One concern I have with it is the capacity is listed as 5,000lb = 2,267kg.
Their site says 7,500lb = 3,401kg but only with a weight distribution hitch.

Trailer Hitches - Hidden Hitch

Sorry missed the most important part
The other concern would be OZ design standards - do they cover towbars?

Exactly, concern enough for me to not even consider.
It's one of those areas that I happy to pay more to ensure all is 100%.

I got my BAABAAA slimline plates last week. Cost about $170 one time payment, I heard some states charge an annual fee fir personalised plates.

Yes heard about that too, in Qld it's a one off cost and the plates are yours to keep or resell if you want to.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Yep in NSW it is a annual fee. Going off memory as I am too lazy to check. Full custom plates are $500 per year and if you choose the letters and numbers that fit in a standard plate (I once had MAL08U) is $120. Oh and they will slug you $70 to make them.
