No eta yet but to be honest, we haven't really followed this up. I suppose I should send an email to see where it is.

'07 WK is our towing vehicle at the moment so not really missing it on WK2.

My car was due for its 1k kms check on Monday but I postponed it as the dealer had not yet received the towbar or reversing camera (plus I'm sure they don't have a fix for the climate control issue yet). My question is for other 2014 Laredo owners, particularly in Perth, are any of you still waiting for the rear reversing camera?
Cheers

Thanks Karrakin,

Sounds like flat is the way to go.
Just left them as is, tried to roll them in and out but they just go back to the way they were after winding the windows.

For anyone else that's having the same problem with the a/c hot / cold issues. Had the hvac recalibrated by the dealer on Monday and issue hasn't come back yet, still early days but others may wanna give it a go

That's awesome news. How long did it take them to recalibrate it.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I've been a bit vacant from here for the past few months (that's only because I've been thoroughly enjoying my CRD), but unfortunately I'm in the market for a new one.

I was involved in a pile up on a freeway, and got the call today from insurance saying it's a write-off with an estimated $50k plus in repairs.

I'm off tonight to take a look at the 2014 in Perth, so wish me luck!

Looking at either:
- '14 Limited CRD
- '14 Limited V6 petrol
- or possibly a '14 Overland V6 petrol if I can get for around $68k

Left the car there for the day to look over some other issues so not sure how long the recalibration took or what it actually involves. All i know is it's been behaving itself so far.

Thanks mate. I've seen a few on the road in the past month, and they look unreal.

We got the CRD last time because of the extra power over the petrol, being more frugal and better resale, but I've heard that the 8speed has really opened up the petrol V6.
So hopefully that is true, because I found the performance a little lacking in the '11-'13 models.

One question that has been asked recently and in other posts, is there a problem in sourcing the towbar and electric harness dealer fitted?

I see some are having problems obtaining them and others are happily towing their vans around the country (lucky buggers).

Anxious to get on the road after running in and I dont want any delays or excuses because of towing equipment.

Bluey

Was going down to Port of Melbourne to welcome the "Tarago" but she gets in at 5.30am so that lets me out.!!
Great news hymer!
My SRT landed Monday at Appleton Dock.
I thought the wait for it to arrive in Australia was hard work, but I recon the last 48hrs have been absolute torture!
Dealer tells me I should see it around the 3rd September which will be 3 weeks to clear customs and be prepped.
I hope it is a little quicker!
