Just got a call from my dealer. My MY14 CRD Laredo is expected to arrive at the dealers on Friday. I'm having a towbar, brake controller and Anderson plug fitted, so should be ready before the end of next week he says.

Now I need to organise my mud-flaps. I'm thinking that I'll order off Amazon from the States? Is this the least expensive option? My dealer quoted $395 fitted, but I was thinking more like $120 delivered from the US?

stormrl congrates on the impending delivery l am expecting my laredo about the same time. not sure about your mudflap quote l was quoted $150 fitted down in Melb,l have heard of a few price variations in regard to dealers from supplying parts to servicing, would be nice if the pricing was a bit more uniform.

I'm not missing the subie one bit.... and I haven't even started towing... which I was in the low 20's litre per 100 k's in the subie.... and even though the subie was near top of range... the interior of the limited gc I think is better... and that is just the stock standard limited gc

Trust me - you won't miss the Outback. I traded in a 3 year old 3.6L Premium model. Only took one day to get over it.

Thanks for that. I will try that if the dealer doesn't come up with it.

Yep, come in on the Tarago last Thursday 15th. Dealer advises Monday 26th at Frankston dealer also.
My Laredo has got leather so needs to be taken over the other side of town to get leather seats installed. No seat covers needed.
Advised only a day. Advised tow bar and electrics in shop as well. No rear camera in shop, maybe September.

Chrome grille inserts info from moparone.com ;

"It is part # 68143075AB and runs at $22.69/US. Your shipping charges for Melbourne, Victoria are $52.40/US for a total of $75.09/US. The requested item ships through USPS on Priority Mail and arrives in 6 to 10 business days."

You can buy a front set of WK2 GC mud flaps for $60.00 plus postage so anyone who is charging more then $150.00 is just ripping you off.
