Tow hooks? I think you need to do a bit of reading auscop Currently they don't fit and we are waiting a solution.

Hi all,
ECB now have a polished alloy bullbar ready for the MY14. But more interesting is this little snippet .....
"This bar is designed with two integrated recovery points built into the 8mm thick steel mounting system, which can be accessed through the front of the bullbar".
I rang ECB and they confirmed that the tow hooks come built in to the bar.

A picture of the GC & bar can be seen here Jeep Grand Cherokee ECB Alloy Bullbars Nudge Bars Bull Bars Series (MY14 06/2013 on) Overland Models

thanks for the reply hymer, haven't heard whether we will have to wait for the camera it will be a bit of a pill if we do because we live about two hours drive from the dealer. I would love to have leather seats but it would be just a little too much of a stretch for the budget.

Contacted my dealer yesterday about any updates on the delivery of my vehicle.
"Sorry Sir but we have no record of your order, you paid your deposit when? "
2 hours later...
"Your car should be ready end of next week"
Wasn't expecting it until late November so now I have to organise stuff. Two things if people can help me out with.
1. Seat Covers - can anyone recommend any stock covers for front and back that you can get from Supercheap Auto or similar.
2. Tinting - A good and dodgy window tinter willing to put privacy tint (20% vlt or under) on the rear windows. (PM with those details) I'm in south western Sydney. Thanks.

No offence, but putting a bull bar on the front is so wrong.

I agree, but it looks alot nicer than a skippy. My Subaru Outback suffered the indignity of have the grill & nudge bar re-arranged a couple of times and I'm not sure I really want to put the GC Ltd thought that. And the pain of of losing the car to the crash repairs for a week or so.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

A bar is a requirement over this way if you are driving out of the metro, the list of little beasties that are trying to become one with the bumper is endless, especially after dark

Keep it factual and don't post comments regarding possible fixes or other sentiments. This is more of a statistical exercise to gauge the scope of issues.

Eg

Problem... (Climate control not functioning)

I will also put regular links to this thread on Jeep Au Facebook page

Thanks
Hi Bigskiddy,

Have you received any feedbacks from JC so far?

Self installed, not easy though.
Also ordered chrome door sill scuff plates with Grand Cherokee stamped.

I think Webber got some.

Anyways, Red Devil 1 week in OZ tomorrow, probably still on Swanston Docks. (Melbourne)

Hi Rob, will be interested to see your chrome grille inserts. No, I have not ordered this for my MY14 (yet). I did order for my MY12 which I never fitted as that car fell through. That is an accessory I now need to put on the market. I have not purchased door sills yet either because I thought I would first wait and see how long it took for me to scuff the paint in this area and then will decide as to whether I should cover those scuff marks. I am thinking about buying the chrome accessory that fits around the headlights though. (I hope I have not said too much JosephR). I love them but would like to see them in the flesh first. Still loving my ambient lighting though.....and by the way, I do not know if my Uconnect is settling in or not but it appears to be very slowly correcting itself. VR works well with Temperature changing, works well with Radio channel changing, does not work for VR navigation, Works a little bit for VR changing music through bluetooth with my Iphone but basically it is a fail and, I think, only think, that my temperature readings between drivers side and passengers side just may be improving. Now I cannot explain why yet. Need to give it more time but overall, allow me to repeat myself....what an incredible car this MY14 is. Love floating air suspension - so smooth. Love the power, love the auto high beam and Active Cruise control. In fact, I just love everything except for the minor things that are not working.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

The bull bar is excellent and a modification on the MY12/13. I just can't bring myself to hiding the beautiful face of my car. I now drive the last 15 ks to home never above 80Kmph because I have those skippies everywhere too. Thinking of a nudge bar that could perhaps house a row of those LED spot lights to light up the road like daylight because you just can't see those Roos. You think you can but they just melt into the side of the road. Only the other night my son said, "did you see that one?". I said, "what?"....and my son said, "the roo, it was right on the edge of the bitumen." Passed it with a metre of clearance. Thank God it did not decide to hop out in front of the car. You would think your headlights would enable you to see them but you can't. Very dangerous.
