I'd been thinking about it alot, and have come to the conclusion that they are more practical for what we do - a lot of country driving.

I'm just trying to find some decent tyres for them now.

Thinking of going the Cooper AT3 in 275/65r18 but worried that they won't fit.
And also worried that it won't fit in the spare wheel well..

Not really sure what to do.. Any ideas would be great!

Put my Ltd in for the tow bar, P3 & mud flaps yesterday. Took two days, but they gave me a Laredo to drive. When I left it with them I asked about the firmware upgrade to fix the aircon problem. It hadn't arrived. When I picked it up this afternoon, they said it had just arrived, and I was the first to get it.

2 climate control. Doesn't like temps in the teens, works properly when it's warm outside - no warm air for the passenger in anything over 21c, so don't fret with summer coming on.
Pharmaboy,
What did it cost to replace windscreen with oem

What is the Firmware version you have just had installed?

No idea- its an insurance claim - I always choose nil excess for windscreen for a car with sensors in the glass - it won't be $500 though.......

Just thought I would check in and see how you guys are doing... and, btw, you might want to stay closely tuned to this thread in the days ahead...

Gonna have to quote Bob Dylan:

"There's something funny going on, I can just feel it in the air”...

Geez Milous, why do you do this to us. Obviously a fix for the Uconnect Temp control if I may have a guess.

This subject continues to intrigue me. Unless you are really seriously into offroading and crossing sharp objects etc. etc. I just cannot understand the need to drop from 20's to 18's. O/k, I reckon the 20's look far superior to the 18's anyday (but I realise that is in the eyes of the beholder) however, they designed it for 20's. They trialed it with 20's, The professional drivers and reviewers drove them with 20's across all terrains etc. I can't recall any of those reviewers writing that they would suggest, "changing the rims from 20's to 18's". And, often, I am sure it must be a costly experience.

Just look at my pic....those wheels are the sleekest legs I've seen on any girl yet.

Guys,

Throwing this question out there.
Does the Uconnect system in the MY14 have live traffic info for the NAV system?
I've played around with it but not sure if it works.
I had SUNA in my G6ET and it worked well.
Has anyone got it working?
Does it need to activated or registered in some way?

Most often when I "hear" something, & will post ahead of "confirmation". Oh, and sometimes just for the heck of it, to see if you guys downunder are paying attention.

I wasn't referring to that, but do you mean: http://www.wk2jeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk2_2400113.pdf

Thanks for the advice iboughtajeep. I contacted them yesterday and asked for the written confirmation. Now I just have to continue the wait. 4 more weeks until she dock in Melbourne

A special edition, say an altitude or Summitt?

Or is there a tune upgrade for an engine?
