2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I tried them out on my dad's farm and worked well. No complaints yet. Also rated highly 3/10 in Australian 4x4 Action issue No 167 (although tyre tested was LT265/75R16). If you are after something more heavy duty look at an LT tyre, the Bridgestone DUELER A/T D697 LT265/60R18 114S, OEM size.

Food for thought.

Webber, each to their own. I agree your 20" tyres looks great.

Just look at my pic....those wheels are the sleekest legs I've seen on any girl yet.
I have not seen any aussie my14 off road reviews but the my11 review that overland magazine did, the car was a laredo optioned with ORAII so it had 18s anyway. I dare say that if it were only possible to have 20s that they would have had something to say about it.

What I can't understand is this obsession with cooper tyres. My parents did 8 years of Grey nomading, dad says that nearly every time someone he knew had a blowout or flat, it was on coopers. Dad never had any issues with his pirelli scorpion's.

coreys,

I really wanted to get the scorpion's but unfortunately they don't import them into Australia in OEM size. The scorpions (spec. LT265/75R16) also took out 1/10 in the Australian 4x4 action tyre comparison.

Hey Milous, you certainly have our attention, I check in every day and hope that one day I actually see my truck is being built really pissed off that JA stuffed the dealer round saying that there was need to make a special order as there should be one coming through un allocated, ended up wasting 2 months, I have sold my Calais expecting my truck the end of this month and will now be driving round in an old spare Camry until hopefully I see my truck this side of Christmas. Given my order has only been in the system for 2 weeks, I would change to a Summit in a heartbeat but can't see them coming to Aussie any time soon.

I agree, the 20's look unreal, but the fact that you can't fit a full size spare 20 in the spare wheel well is my main issue.

If I could have fitted one in, then it would be a no brainer.

I had been wrestling with the decision for the past 2 weeks, and have decided to just go for it.

I had the 20's in the previous rig, so I know what I'm missing out on!

Please don't tell us the SRT's are on hold for Aus?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I think it is the announcement that Chrysler have been purchased by Tata Motors, India, and that the new SRT is going to be based on a Tuk Tuk.

Hi, I'm just curious what members are doing with the 20" rims once they swap for 18's?? I've got a 4x4 Laredo and I don't really do any country driving so looking at swapping to the 20's but haven't seen any around for sale. Are they swapped at factory? I don't suppose anyone is looking to part with a set?! Cheers

The Scorpion ATR in 265/60R18 are now available locally, I plan on getting a set as soon as the car wheels out of the dealer.
