Regarding my wheel alignment, I asked again about the wheel alignment setting I showed them in the UConnect and the fact they didn't realize it was there. They finally admitted that they are learning on the fly with the new JGC.
I said, as long as they are up front and honest, then I'm happy to bring the vehicle back to them.
The A/C is so much better with the software upgrade to the HVAC and the flash upgrade.

Will let you all know what hapoens once I book it back in.
Can I ask what dealer you use in Brisbane? Had ours in for the AC update, and quized him on the VR issues, and his response was a blunt "that feature isn't available in AU". when pushed, he said i'd have to take it up with Chrysler AU HQ

Show your dealer the AU 2014 JGC brochure which states: "Use your voice to enter a complete address in one step....."

Well I'm sure that's provided Willx with his first laugh of the day when he reads this.

Our's goes in tomorrow morning for the Climate fix - will talk to them about the Nav issue as well. (which I'm sure they are already aware of) but will make a 'formal' issue of it with them so they can fire it up the line so to speak.

Regardless of that though, I trust Willx et al to be the most reliable of information with regards to this issue. It's just a matter of being patient now.

Does anyone have a copy of this?, I've tried looking for it on line, but can't find it.

In the latest Aust Brochure (the big A4 one) it is littered with references to Voice Command, for example on the Uconnect page it states the following:-

" Use your voice to enter a complete address in one step"

"Hands free phone. With voice command you can say who you want to call or text".

I suggest to call in to your local Dealer and pick up one of these current brochures.
Hope this is of help.

I have a hard copy. I'll scan the relevant part tomorrow and post it - if it works - there's very little contrast. I just picked it up from my dealer, so I imagine it is generally available. We do not seem to have access to digital copies of anything, here in Oz. The US makes the owners manual, uconnect manual, etc available, but I can't find the AU versions of any of them.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Latest Update on Gforce's Limited.

As arranged I took my Limited back to my Dealer (Cricks Automotive Noosa) for the Uconnect replacement and the Air Con fix. As I walked in they told me about the Air Con fix even before I could mention it, apparently the dealers have only just received the information.

Glad to report all is well, only took a couple of hours to do the job, so I spent the time having a lazy lunch at the Noosa Surf Club.

The guys in their Service Dept did an outstanding job, apart from the paperwork authorising the job you would never know the unit had been replaced, everything was set up correctly and I only had to re pair my phone back in to the Hands Free and reset my home address.
For those interested the software version is 13.19.0 and the Air Con fix has worked.

I am sorry to hear how some of you guys / girls are being treated by your Dealers, I would give mine 10 / 10 for quality of service and customer satisfaction.

PS: As a matter of interest the manager told me that the Jeep GC is now number one in 4WD sales volume in Aust... not supprised

yeah yeah, rub it in. I know Cricks are good. Used to get our VW serviced by them at Maroochydore.

TJQLD, how do I see the wheel alignment setting in UConnect? My steering wheel is slightly off centre but it does not pull in either direction when driving/braking etc. Whoever did the alignment didn't centre the wheel.

It's in settings, under a tab. I'd have to go and look, but it's there. Along with tyre jack mode and transport mode. It apparently disables certain sensors to perform a wheel alignment.
