My Calais I just sold had similar interior and was spotless when sold. I got special moulded carpet mats that wrapped up the sides on not just on the flat area. Looking at the jeep standard carpet mats I reckon they are too small.

The place I got my last moulded carpet mats from was a place in Dandenong Victoria think they are called trufit. Waiting on a call back for when they will be available but if the one piece rear passenger and side wrap fronts are like my Calais ones I will get the level of coverage I am looking for. I have in my wife's SSV ute, can a photo if anyone is interested.
Mine has (if it ever gets built) black carpets, it's only a Limited. I want/need the rubber bucket type mats because I do a bit fly fishing in Tas and getting in and out of the car and launching the boat drags a bit water into the car. I normally dont take my waders & boots off all day, so the rubber mats are a must.

I put this on the towing thread, but should of placed it here.

Has anyone been checking their oil level during the first 10000 km travelled. I've noticed that at 5000 km, the oil level is at the minimum mark and as I'm about to do some extended towing over the next 5000 km, I'm looking for the right oil to mix in and yes I've read the manual as to the right type of oil to use, just finding it seems to be just as allusive as the tow hooks. Has anyone found the same issue with oil use and where are you guys getting your supply from?

There is a servicing thread somewhere. I recall them talking about oil a little there. Would likely be pre my14 vehicles. Might be worth checking out.

Here
Jeep WK Grand Cherokee Genuine Mopar Slush Floor Mats Part CH82212214AC | eBay

Although I read in some thread, maybe this one, maybe the floor mat thread that the passenger mat is slightly different for MY14, it has two plugs instead of one for the floor, or one instead of two.
Either way not an issue.

No discount there, $140 is the rrp from any Jeep Dealer.

If your after a cargo mat, this looks like the cheapest option.

I had a ring around here and was quoted $170-$190 for the 3 mats.
Moparone has them for $65 and pedal kit for $45, S & H $83 = about $205 Aus

Made my own front mats for the Limited, called into Clark Rubber and picked out some nice floor mat rubber which is sold in bulk, cost $28. Used my carpet mats as a stencil and cut the rubber slightly oversize, looks a treat and doesn't move around. (If there was to be a problem I intended to use some Velcro on the back edge).

Sounds like a good idea..
Got any pics?

I like the idea of having a lip on the edges though.. wonder if that's possible.
Might drop into Clark Rubber tomorrow and check out what they have in stock.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Just curiosity: I had a look at my Overland at the dealer's yesterday. Hasn't been through pre-delivery yet. I noticed that the Uconnect version is 13.19.0 - which as far as I know is the latest for export vehicles. The curious thing is that I don't think this version was released (for export anyway) until after the build date of my car (13 June). There's no way the dealer has had time to do an upgrade, so does this mean Prix cars does it? Maybe that would explain the 3 weeks from ship to dealer.

Hey Salmo,

Congratulations ! Yours was built overnight. Thought you would catch up to mine is still sitting in a holding yard, looks like we are both scheduled for 6 October departure on MV Taiko. Probably be on a train within a week to make port in time. Shame I miss out on it being here for cup weekend in Melbourne but will at least have it for Christmas. Better start organising a few things like mats etc now. Salmo no stress now looks like fishing in Tassie will be goer for you unless the Taiko sinks or something...lol!

Yes. Prixcars are supposed to ensure all critical fix software is the latest.
