I'm interested that you have messaging via your phone. I have an iPhone like many will and still can't send a message without engaging Siri. Can you confirm that either via the green phone or VR button, you can send a SMS whilst driving using voice. I should say that I have completed the upgrade as well.

Butts - Haven't tested it whilst driving yet. Will do that shortly ie: have to do school pickup in 15mins. Have just sat in the driveway this morning and played for about half an hour.

You use the green pick-up phone button. Have also tested things like 'Inbox' and all your latest messages are displayed. Then you can say 'Read message 1' for example and it displays and reads out that message.

Our phone (which is crappy at the moment and we will be replacing in the coming weeks) is a Motorolla Defy.

To any one that has done the update to the latest 13.39.51 dose it give you the option to auto lower the air suspension on exit.

Cheers.

You can’t use any devices (car, headset, computer, carrot etc..) voice activation while Siri is active.
If Siri is active then it will always handle any voice enquiries. I am not sure if this has changed with the latest version of Siri in iOS7, I strongly doubt it.
Maybe you can turn Siri off simply with the control centre, not sure I am still on iOS5.1.1, but I can with SBSettings, so I would expect you can with Control Centre.

"Auto Entry/Exit was a mid-model year product change that involved hardware changes and nothing to do with UConnect."

The mud flaps on the build sheet are completely different, they are just a little guard that you would hardly notice, lucky you

Edit: See a couple of posts later for what those guards are.

I can confirm that sending text messages whilst driving works a treat.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Anyone who has ORAII, preferably on an Overland - does it have splash guards in front of the rear wheels? (Like very small mudflaps held on by a couple of bolts). Mine doesn't, and the dealer told me they are not fitted to ORAII cars. This conflicts with my build sheet, but I'd like to confirm others' cars.
Thanks,
Russell

I did contact Frankston Jeep being one of the local dealers I was going to get it serviced at a few weeks ago to get a price to supply and install a tow bar but they have never contact me back. Has anyone used Jeep Frankston to get their vehicle serviced at or what is the going price to supply and fit a tow bar.
You should only have to pay approx. $1,000 for genuine towbar fitted
