Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I have seen reports that SD cards & USB work fine in the GC entertainment system, but, what about portable hard drives. ?????

There are a hell of a lot of CRD '12 and '13's out there afterall). Perhaps Chooke and Ansamoiz '14's were anomalies and we should assume a passive regeneration and untie the knickers.
Spoke to my wife further about this tonight and she managed to get a pic of it when it happened, she also said that the percentage actually indicates how full the filter is and that it reduced down as she drove.

Just noticed that It started at lower kms than I first thought at 381kms. The second one was at around 1200kms

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Excellent DS84 - Thank you. I have never seen that message on our EVIC and I'm fairly sure the husband would have told me if he had ever seen it (even upside down )

381 kms though? Get that thing moving.

That picture definitely confirms that it is an Australian car.

I'm learning how little I know about diesels! That pic surely indicates active regeneration, as passive regeneration is essentially continuous provided the exhaust temp is adequate - and if its not -drive faster!

We're at 2500kms now... We're racking them up! 8)

Apparently the second regen occurred around 1200kms, haven't seen anything further since then and no funky smells in the garage...

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Ahaaa... Have just gone and played with the EVIC settings.

DS84 - You have your EVIC display in 'Speedometer' display. We have ours set at 'Fuel Economy Display'

This is maybe why we have never seen the message. Have changed it and shall drive tomorrow and maybe I will see that message.
