Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I just tried Budget Direct on-line, $779 with $550 excess.
A couple of weeks ago I printed a few other quotes, I can list a few of those if anybody is interested.

Well with SNUKE's, mine and several others on the Tonsberg has anyone found a contact at Prix Cars yet that may help get our cars to the dealers quicker?

They really stand out against the Granite - not sure if they would stand out as well on a lighter colour.
I'm thinking about those headlight surrounds that Webber mentioned the other day. Has anyone bought these and how do they look?
My missus thinks they will add too much bling .
How about a pic Colozzie. Have been thinking of them but just don't know with bright white but agree would stand out against Granite. I am interested in the head light surrounds but want to see them in the flesh first.

No joke. One dealer couldn't even identify a faulty fuel pump and put it down to lack of knowledge about the new my14...I could be wrong, but I thought every car had a fuel pump these days

I was with Budget Direct with our Pajero's for about 10 years, left them at renewal time this year for Woolworths as they could not compete.

With Woolworths you also get an extra 4 cents of per litre for 12 months on top of their normal 4 cents of deal and a $50 fuel voucher.

I still have to hand pump as I go in the Falcon.
These electric fuel pumps are a pretty new special technology.

You can get those ones, $50 ish in the US.

This is a cheaper set

And slightly different tips, which I think I prefer. It was the one thing that bugged me about the other ones I listed, the tapered tip. I think these form to the door lines better.

I just got a quote from Youi $860pa with $700 excess including all glass cover (not just windscreen). I'll call back in a day or so and tell them they need to do better and get the excess halved with $100 off the premium.

If I don't let the better half drive it to work and park on the street I can save another $80. That suggestion didn't go down well.

Also to note some insurers only cover on 'nominated roads'. Eg you get stuck on the beach or lose into a tree on a forestry road, you aint covered.

I just tried Woolworth's, just over a $1000 for 22k km's and windscreen.
Ratz.

Trust me, I have checked as many online quote websites as I can, and the best one is Commonwealth Bank - for me. Maybe at 43 I'm still considered a hoon!

Below is quote from Coles. Includes Rating 1 protection and Windscreen. This is the best I am able to get. Tried almost every company. Insurance for my suburb is extremely expensive. Others may be able to get it cheaper.
