They only make one for the left side. I've just purchased a second one and am getting a bracket engineered for the right side. 2 recovery points is much better than 1

It says "sample photo only - not actual car". May be a picture of a MY11.

yes could be, seems a lot of dealers use these. So the hooks were originally on them then removed on later models ?

Thanks studgun. Also found a couple of US sellers on eBay who have Mopar hooks and they will ship here.

yes that would seem the simplest solution -
eg
Jeep Grand Cherokee 2011-2013 Front tow recovery hook hooks Mopar | eBay

Yes. 2 Recovery Hooks were standard on the MY11. When they released the MY12, the hooks were missing. No announcement was made. As a gesture, probably to ensure their HQ in Melb was not trashed and grafittie'd, they offered to fit 1 hook free to those who order before Feb 12. Those who placed orders after that month, were forced to pay exorbitant charges to fit one. The MY 13 was also released without the Hooks, but someone has reported seeing new MY13s in the dealership with both recovery hooks, and I am not referring to the Trailhawks. This has yet to be verified.

Those hooks will only fit the MY11 model. MY12-13 models are 'pedestrian safety' models and the front end behind the bumper is slightly different. However if the rumours are true the latest MY13 models may be able to have them fitted. Take off the plastic cover and take a photo of what's behind it at an upward angle and I'll be able to tell you which hook will fit yours.

For those who have not yet found this one. Shows some of the features like active cruise conrol.
