That's correct. They'll ask if your car is a private movement or dealership, and then they ask for the E number to provide you with a status. I found them to be helpful.

Is this status just its current one, or planned timeline too?
ie effectively have to contact days apart for update.

I need to sell our Pajero now the GC has landed, yet need a tow vehicle on the 15/16th.
Part of my deal with my purchase is a loan car for up to 4 weeks if I sell the Pajero instead of trade it, but for all we know the loan car could be a Kia Cerato.

So knowing a more definitive timeline from Prix Cars will help in planning.

SNUKE, looking forward to you collecting your car and posting your critique on what you think as I think you are in a position to make a valued assessment. Are you getting excited?

I was in a similar situation as you. When the dealer told me it was being trucked from Syd to Mel, but could not say when, I got onto Prix Cars, and they were able to advise the planned transport, I would then check to see if that took place. To the point I actually advised the dealer when the car arrived at their yard to work out the delivery date.

I will be barely driving it, the car is for the misses, including the slim LIPSTICK PINK - BLACK CHARACTER number plates.
She was concerned the colour may bug me if I am driving it. i could care less, surround it in pretty flowers for all I care.

Of course my ear will be taking the beating if some of the troubles arise.
Just super happy the Climate Control issue has already been fixed.

Don't yet have the car, have had no issues, yet already hate Jeep Aus with a passion. Okay, that's a bit extreme, I dislike them greatly.

I will call them next week some time.
I will list the Pajero this weekend.

Anyone want to buy a black 2005 Pajero Exceed with Boom Crash Opera stuck in the CD/DVD player? Lots of room in the centre console. Spares readily available, and if not Mitsubishi Australia will air freight them in within 2 days if it stops your car from running.
Damn you Mits for letting the Pajero become 14 years old.

That's a nice colour Butts. It almost looks blue from that angle. Nice.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Hi all,

I am a newbie to this forum, so pardon me if someone has already asked this question of if this is not the correct place to ask

I currently own a 2007 Toyota Prado and am planning to upgrade. The the options I have is a newer Prado or the 2013/2014 Jeep GC. I never owned a Jeep and have heard from different owners and forums that they dont stand up to their name. I have heard that from time to time they have issues (which I suppose all cars have), below average off road performance, not many off roading kits and also dont have any good resale value.

What would be your thoughts on this ?

Thanks
