Your girl has inside jewellery Webber. That disco ambient lighting. What more does a girl want?

As an aside, I gave 'Jeep Girl' a random command today (as I do )

I don't even remember what I said because I was so shocked and nearly drove off the road (actually not really but I did need to do a double take) - Apps came up on the screen. We don't have Apps. Jeep Girl wanted further input though.

Could not help her in that regard. Switched media instead and promised to at some stage mention it to Will. I think she forgave me.

It's there though - it just needs to be switched on I think.

Come on Chrysler Australia.

Oh also, thought I would mention (which may or may not be helpful to someone), Jeep is booked into her first 10,000km service next Thursday and the price I was given for this was $375.00.

That's pretty good I think. Certainly less than the Mazda we had - standard service cost for that was $420 each time. They did wash and detail the car though (I cannot find the sarcasm emoticon).

Very happy with that price though for the Jeep. He said oil change, oil filter change and general check.

Haven't spoken about applicable TSB application yet. There is one that is possibly worth doing - not sure - and that is the air suspension message that has randomly displayed itself but then goes away. 3 times in the last 5/6 weeks.

Might mention it to him upon drop off.

But overall, happy with the service cost.

Thanks SJandL, I had forgotten the Ambient Lighting. It comes on automatically. I had forgotten it was added jewellery. I just run with blue but yeah, I should occasionally change the colour to red, orange, purple etc. as I have noticed girls like changing their "lippy". A young lady in the nursery on the weekend had each finger nail on her hands painted different colours. I'm definetely getting left behind in the fashion stakes. That App thing is interesting too. l bet SNUKE will have an answer for you.

That is a good price. My overland includes 3 years 60 kms schedule services. I think they charged me $1600 for that.

That becomes about $267 each service.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

$267 is a good price Ansamoiz. But we're not going to quibble over the $375.00. They are a good dealership, have serviced '07 previously and understand Jeeps.

Given that both Jeeps are registered as business vehicles means that we can reduce that price just a little bit further with the GST claim against it.

Happy with the price - happy with the dealership.

Being happy with the dealership is not so common. You are very lucky. I have only clocked 1590 kms in 7 weeks. Still have a few months to go for first service. Hopefully, I will have a good experience with the dealership as well. So far, in many years, I have never been happy with any dealership. That includes; Mercedes, BMW, Ford, Mazda, Honda and Nissan.

Very true on the skid plates Steve... Purchased Mopar 82212377 18" rims and TPMS's and have narrowed the tyres down to Bridgestone D697's in stock size at this stage.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I'm looking at getting skid plates and rock rails on my overland 2014. Has anyone fitted these themselves?. If so any advice on things to look out for. Also, any recommendations on where to get the best deal on these and other accessories would be much appreciated.

Has anyone else, who's Jeep arrived on the Tonsburg, already had their car delivered?

I called Prix Cars yesterday, mine is still sitting on the wharf, not even on the way to Minto yet - hence my updated signature.
Dealer hasn’t gotten it allocated to them (Prix Cars said they are known to be slack at doing this) yet so its planned progress can only be tracked by Chysler at this stage.
