At least yours is now in Aust, mine might be in Auckland today. I hope when it rolls off in Melb it doesn't get there too long before its transported to SA. We have a Prix cars here, I wonder if they will process it in Vic or SA.
I'm looking forward to hearing your initial impressions.
Good luck & enjoy.

Dealer....confident.....don't use both words in the same sentence as it may set off alarms at ASIO's Data Scanning Faciltiy!!!

Roadies are generally excellent in sand. The soft sidewalls relax nicely allowing the long footprint that you're looking for. The tread is not aggressive, so half a rotation of wheelspin doesn't dig you in to the rails.

That said, it all goes to custard when there's cap rock on the access track.

Ciao,
Steve

Best of luck, mine took more than four weeks from Melbourne to Geelong with Prix. I thought the dealer was bull s..ting me, but Prix are proving to be incapable of handling these cars in anything like a reasonable time.

Does anyone know of a good window tinter to do the front 2 windows? Just called a 'non franchaised' tinter. He basically said he's never done one before and recommended I ring around to find someone who can.

Cheers
Picked my Laredo up today and it had the reversing camera fitted.

Despite initial assurances that the cameras came with dynamic grid lines, it seems that they now come with no lines at all. It doesn't worry me that there are no grid lines as my Prado doesn't have them either, it is just the misinformation they provide. Haven't really tested the quality or resolution yet.

They assured me the camera was provided by Jeep if you can believe that!

How is this for a neat piece of work on my new car picked up today? I asked for a 7 pin large round plug to match my van and it obviously didn't fit the same as a 7 pin flat so they just cut the tow bar to make it fit.

You can also see on the far left the bracket supporting the plastic cover held on by a cable tie.

Can't beat the crystal granite, so far looking at jazzy ...

Stick to tint a car or sol ace. Service is usually good, and no dramas with warranty repairs.

So effectively, you only have 1 point to secure the safety chains?????
