You can also see on the far left the bracket supporting the plastic cover held on by a cable tie.

Obviously an engineered design modification approved by Chrysler/Fiat/Jeep/Dodge/RAM/Alfa etc Australia.

Stands out like the proverbial K9 testicles that HO ginger beer nerds got their computers running hot to come up with a fix like that.!!

Makes you proud that we live in a technologically advanced country like Orstraylya!!

A10-6 you should nominate your dealer for the Australian Engineering Excellence Award coming up. Your dealer should be a shoe-in for that extreme effort!

PS ... Dont forget to cross your safety chains when hooking up the van.

Thanks for that. Just found a guy who works from home - well recommended. Cost is $100 for metalised tint, or $150 for ceramic - not sure what the difference is, but will discuss then. Compared to dealer wanted to charge $500.00 for 2 windows???

I am a newbie to this forum, so pardon me if someone has already asked this question of if this is not the correct place to ask

I currently own a 2007 Toyota Prado and am planning to upgrade. The the options I have is a newer Prado or the 2013/2014 Jeep GC. I never owned a Jeep and have heard from different owners and forums that they dont stand up to their name. I have heard that from time to time they have issues (which I suppose all cars have), below average off road performance, not many off roading kits and also dont have any good resale value.

What would be your thoughts on this ?

Thanks
Hi Abs,
I did a lot of research like all of those on this forum, and bang for buck the jeep far out classes the Toyota prado. 2013 Prados were reported to have wind tunnel like noise over 100 kph according to some of the Toyota forums. I bought a jeep and whilst it has little minor things , most of those were fixed with a Uconnect upgrade and it is such a smooth sweet ride. Everyone looks at my jeep and to those lucky enough to get to see it inside have all commented on how awesome it is ! Take both for a spin and compare the rides !

It wasn't me that suggested to say you were someone else.

Dave was a complete mystery to me, I just read through the email chain with him again, not sure if he had his hands tied a little with the group buy proposal, but it was very painful getting info out of him, I know he looked after you well.

Alex got back to me. Expects car to be ready 15th or there abouts. Again, I am not in a hurry so don't care if then or two weeks later, just needed to know. Now I where I stand it's all good.

Just out of curiosity, have you checked that the horn works when you press it on the steering wheel?

Absolutely, horn works albeit it sounds like something you get in a $3 showbag, anyone replaced the horn to sound more like it looks ?
