He has an itemised list of what they did but there was actually nothing that he can pinpoint that was actually wrong. Labour came to $8000.

His last service was at the 13,000kms and he says it drives just exactly the same as when he handed it over to them a week ago.

I feel so much better about the $375 service for MY14.

(But I do understand a Jeep is not a Ferrari but still....)
You got me googling, and found this. Not sure if you would like to show it to your friend...

Sorry, I mis-typed. He had the last service 13,000kms ago. Have fixed original post.

And can I just add it was the very first time that I had come across paddle-shifters in a vehicle and it scared the living day-lights out of me, the speed of the thing which is why I've never touched the paddle-shifters on MY14.

Traumatised I tell you.

Its transferable between owners, and worldwide according to the web site.

I wish more car manufacturers did the same.

Does anyone know any decent replacements for the weedy oem horn?
Yes, every new car I've purchased ( and motorbikes) I have fitted new Fiamm Horns, current model is EL Grande. Can be hard to find in Aus, but I last purchased a set through Amazon. They are a standard replacement fit.

Exactly the same, mine is also faultless, picks up street lighting as well and dips the lights.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Good morning all

On friday I contacted service department re my radio not working as its been 3 weeks since they placed an order for replacement. They put me through to parts department and was told there were 5 others also waiting and ETA was 11th December. They also told me it was specifically ordered for my vehicle which relates to antitheft and other computer related issues. The GPS still works with the lady giving turn by turn but there is no memory of recent or favourite destinations. With 6 radios on order is there any one else on Jeep Garage with this problem. Oh my wife is getting sick of my singing.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

they sell about 1200-1400 GCs per month, 6 radios is units is nothing.

It is not really specifically ordered, its just the correct unit, then they need to make sure it is linked to your VIN.

Have you tried reinstalling the Uconnect software yourself to see if it makes any difference?
