Steve,

I'd go to the Doctors for a checkup if its dribbling like an old man doodle.

Those dribbles cover up a multitude of problems.
Maybe a bloodtest or a scan or even an MRI.

Check it out soon Steve. Your wife will thank you.

Bluey

PS My dribbles are fine Steve. (But the doodles a problem tho!!)

Bluey I don't know if the doctor will take a look at the CAR

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I am off to the USA tomorrow, and I am renting a new Ford Exploder. Should be a bit of fun to drive on the wrong side and see all the car choices over there. Will be interesting to see what the competition is like in comparison to the JGC.

It is a pity I am not buying any Jeep goodies, as the wife has packed a 2nd suite case for all the kids pressies.

I wonder why as less trim than MY11-13 with no chrome across tail gate and no chrome side strips. I'm not experiencing these problems. Maybe with hindsight I have done the right thing in delaying the addition of bling.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Had my first gremlin when the driver's display was black. Nothing registering including fuel gauge and tacho. Was only doing a short 2 min trip, upon startup a few hours later all was good.

Yesterday when having a go of removing the front lower bumper for off-road use (which BTW is a pain in the arse to remove) saw that my GC has a couple of pimples above the driver's headlamp on the underside of the bonnet.

Does anyone have a GC with pimples??

The main area on mine is the leading edge of each rear door, from beneath the chrome trim under the window. Hardly a big deal, but noticeable.

Yep, another weekend towing the Camper Trailer up to Coolum Beach. 250 km round trip with a full house ( had the in-laws in the back, extra weight .......) and still managed 10.5 l/100 km fully loaded. Not that far from the 10k service.

That sound like the problem they are doing the recall for. Apparently it is the ABS module that causes it. Take it to the Dealer ASAP as the stability and ABS may fail.

Obviously a business trip but enjoy yourself all the same. USA is one place I would love to visit. If you get a chance to post and odd opinion of your USA experience I am sure I would not be alone in stating I am interested. Enjoy the experience of work & play.
