IBAJ,

How do you get on then with the Hi-Flow diesel pumps (for trucks). They have a larger diameter nozzle which cant fit in the capless filler.
(In Melbourne anyway)

Bluey
The pump labelled "Hi-Flo" at my local servo (NSW) fits in OK - in fact I was a bit surprised as I expected it wouldn't.

9 speed, NO. You don't put a new transmission in to only replace it the following year, you build on the experience and fiddle with the programming.
Not to mention the 9 speed can't handle the torque of the CRD or V8.

The MY15 update will be relatively minor, as was the MY12 update. It fixes a few bugs but nothing major. And as has been posted we wont see it for a good 10 months.
I have waited a year from when I decided to replace the Pajero to get a MY14, and I consider it worth while for the difference in MY13 to MY14, but I sure wouldn't be waiting more than a couple of months for MY15
I reckon if you were prepared to wait a year for the MY15, you would be better to wait 2 years for the WL.....

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Well I got the missus to test drive a CRD today, after months of saying 'as long as I can drive it' (she doesn't like driving the cruiser) half way through the test drive it became 'I could drive this everyday'......

Oh well.....

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Hello Everyone,

Just did a quick trip visiting some of our customers in the southern part of NSW last week, from Sydney went to Unanderra, Goulburn, Wagga Wagga, Albury, Ulladulla, Nowra, Bomaderry and Berry and then back home to Bella Vista, total of 1,546.5Km, fuel consumption 7.4 Lit/100Km.

The GC Overland was fantastic, except for a few unknown areas the GPS mapping software could not recognise, but overall very pleased, comfortable, handled bad weather really well, standard lights were good at night and the CRD has heaps of power when overtaking. Cannot praise the GC enough.

Have included a pic of the screen. Hope others have the same great experience with their GC.

Regards......JosephR

Regarding the fuel pumps, I just carry a pop rivet in the cars which works great as a pin for the pump handles and if you forget it there are always plenty more in a packet.

They have 1 "standard pump", and two "hi Flow pumps", which fit the Jeep, and the remaining are designated "truck Pumps"

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Collected my "diesel" GC on Friday afternoon, here are a few things I have found with my vehicle (built date 16/09/13)

1, The QL tank fasteners are undone as with a few of the others; one of the screw that was holding the plastic cover is also stripped
2, Paint blemish on bonnet
3, The LHS windscreen drain (under the bonnet hinge) was not fitted properly
4, Fuel usage is not as good as I have hoped in heavy CBD traffic (21l/100km on my way home today, bumper to bumper for a 3km trip).
5, Uconnect version 13.31.2 (has since been updated to latest )

Apart from that the car drives very well and quite fuel efficient in normal condition (on average since Friday I am on 9.6 l/100)

When was the car built?
