FWIW - You're better off doing it yourself - better peace of mind.

No, it has no issue reading all of my card, which now has 39GB of music and podcasts on it.

The one thing I didn't see and drove me nuts was the speed confirmation when I set cruise control. I mean it digitally showing me the numbers of the speed I set to cruise at. It confirmed a speed was set, just not what that speed was.
The manual says it does, Belinda said she saw it driving last night, but I never saw it or was looking in the wrong spot.
Speedo is out by 2kmh, so when it says 80kmh, it is actually doing 78kmh.

It is a hell of lot nicer to drive than the Pajero, so much better on the road, doesn't feel so narrow, more car like.
The higher front end is a little off putting and blinding, the left hand mirror is confusing. I am still babying it though, let it have a good break in rather than my lead foot.
In a few weeks time I will give it some get up and go.

Mine gives me very few by either song or artist...it keeps giving helpful advice like "Play Artists Amy Whitehouse". Wrong generation I am afraid!
Yes, I gave it some good names to try to.
Play Artist Kasabian = Found.
Play song Doctor? = Found, I left the question mark out.
Play song Do You Realize = Found
Play song Empire State of Mind = Found
Play Artist Nine Inch Nails = Found
Call Home = Correct options listed
Go Home = Nav directs to home
Call me = Correct Options listed.

It only got confused when I did and stuffed up a song name, at which point it gave me options.

What I didn't like was asking to play a song, meant it only played that song, it did not continue on with the album.

I didn't try VR for Climate Control settings but others have confirmed that has worked, including back seats.

Congrats on your getting your beast. Don't know about those pink plates...

Beige interior gives it a different look. The one thing I love about the standard is the dark headlining. Feels more cosy and secluded.

Yeah that annoyed me too when you ask to play a song. Have now started to learn the names of albums.

Glad you got yours Snuke.

VR climate control temp setting for rear confirms on the screen but it actually does nothing. Same as if you press VR button and say DAB, it will confirm on the screen that it has changed to DAB radio but nothing has really changed.

Accidently bumped the gear shift forward today and the car went into neutral.... Does everyone else's car lock into drive or do they also slip into neutral?

Noticed that the rain sensing wipers operate when the ignition is on Accessory. Make sure you turn the wipers to 'off' if you like to have the stereo going whilst washing the car and you lift wipers off the screen.

Button down to shift to D but no button needed for D-N or D-S.

[QUOTE="SNUKE;934734"] Are you getting Black on Pink plates too. I actually really like the pink plates too. The Granite Crystal was the misses choice, I wanted Silver, as it shows less dirt. I said no black no matter what after the black Pajero. My company Falcon is a similar grey, so I now it shows dirt very well. Max Steel was the other choice, but the variance in colour to light put her off. You getting Lux II as well, don't see that on your spec filled signature.[/QUO

Snuke, my plates will be white letters on a green background, been on my last 3 cars. I didn't get the Lux, had to draw the line somewhere after ORA & QL, then the bullbar and a couple of other minor things. I glad to see you seem to enjoying yours, so far.

Interesting. Thanks, Obviously I will get some improvements with the updates when my car goes in for the 6 monthly in a couple of weeks. I just hope the process does not undo any of the things that are working perfectly now because I have virtually no complaints at all others than some Uconnect glitches.

So - I found, you have to first check two boxes on the Uconnect system.

1: Settings - Doors and Locks - Personal settings linked to Key Fob. CHECK

2: Settings - Engine Off Option - Easy Exit Option. CHECK

No surprises with checking #1 but it wasn't until I checked #2 that it actually worked.

After these two options checked, then I took Key Fob #1 and started the car. Pressed memory setting 1 on the door panel (my setting), it reconfigured the steering column and seat and then I pressed the Lock option on the key fob. A few clicks and lights flashed and it was set.

Then shut down car, went inside and got Key Fob #2 (Sam's key) and started the car. Pressed memory setting 2 on the door panel (his setting), it reconfigured the steering colum and seat and I pressed the Lock option on his key fob.
Same clicks and lights flash and it was set.

Tested between the two fobs. It works each time.

It did not work however prior to me setting the Easy Exit Option check box.

Anyway, give it a go - it does work.

Oh - the Easy Exit option, works in the same way as our '07 JGC. When the engine is turned off, it adjusts the steering column and also the drivers seat backwards to give you more room to exit (just in case you are wondering what that is).
I managed to get my Key to set to Setting 2 yesterday without even trying, I was just messing around and I saw the confirmation message come up.

I have been trying this method above, and the official one from the manual which says to have the car set to OFF, and I can't get Key 1 to program to Setting 1 no matter what variance I try. I have tried it on OFF, ACCC, RUN & ON, and it just wont work.

Personal settings linked to Key Fob & Easy Exit Option are both selected.
I have undoing it too, so I can try again, but nothing.

Here is what my manual says

To program your RKE transmitters, perform the following:

1. Remove the Key Fob from the ignition (or change the ignition to OFF, for vehicles equipped with Keyless Enter-N-Go).

2. Select desired memory profile (1) or (2).

3. Once the profile has been recalled, press and release the SET (S) button on the memory switch, then press and release button (1) or (2) accordingly. “Memory Profile Set” (1 or 2) will display in the instrument cluster on vehicles equipped with the EVIC.

4. Press and release the LOCK button on the RKE transmitter within 10 seconds.
