Hopefully things get moving for you.
Thanks Salmo, I think you are heading to Tassie ?? with your new Jeep, enjoy !

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

congrats to all who've picked up their rides over the last few weeks. I've been lurking around catching up on the thread and admiring all these pics

I finally picked up my SRT yesterday . Love it!!! Weather sucked here in melb so its already filthy
Its our first 4wd so it feel strange to be so high up on the road. will take some getting used too. Didn't get much of a drive due to work commitments but planning on a long drive tomorrow

I do have a question .... on a short trip doing the school drop off I noticed the car go into limp mode ( at least that's what I think it's called). I was at a set of lights and on take-off the engine sounded like it was reving but I was getting no power and almost no movement. I had to pull over and restart the car. it was all good after that. then this arvo the same thing. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be worried??? thought I would hit this thread before searching else where

I'm not sure what people are thinking about with regards to a get together. Some people might prefer a '4x4 drive day', other's (due to perhaps the constraints of their Jeeps) may prefer just a meet-up. I'm not sure, hence the feeler.

To that end though, we are happy to host a general meet-up/get together day here for those that are interested. We are about an hour or so south of Sydney and have room to park in excess of 50 JGC's on the property. (I want that pic )

It will be a BBQ/general nag type of get-together I'm assuming and checking out each other's Jeeps. Property is also 'child-friendly' with a soccer field and swimming pool and plenty of room for kids to muck around.

Just a feeler at this point but probably looking at sometime in mid-January if people are interested.

Whatcho think?
Hi SJandL ,

Towards the latter prt of January would be ideal ! Would love to have a pic of all of the cars , would be keen to do a cruise up with a few in convoy style if any of of you are based on the northern beaches ??

Sounds like the DPF filter is full. Did you get any warning or notification?

Bluey, I knew you were simply having fun, I got it very clearly.
Don't stress.

I was extremely surprised by everyone else's response though.
The fun of reading vs having someone in front of you and missing all of the important info when conversing.

SJ & L, great idea.

Get it straight back to the dealer to find out whats wrong, ask for a loan car while they fix it, and don't give the keys back to the loaner until your happy with your SRT.
