Its not really annoying me, its just so dim I can only see it on the window switches, can't really see it in the footwells or around the cup holders etc.
Yes I did see your lighting, (couldn't miss it), it looks fun. I think all you need now is a mirror ball hanging from the rear view mirror, and maybe a verticle chrome pole in the middle of the car.

I am so close to touching my Jeep for the first time and can't thank Willix & Milous enough for all their assistance as well as the contributions made by regular contributors here in oz. I won't name them individually for fear of missing someone, but they know who they are and they have made the loooooong wait a bit more bearable.
Ditto on the first paragraph, read from the start to see all their contributions.

Did mention I have my car, its so nice, colour combo, to drive etc. (hehehe)

I'm sure it won't be long and you will have yours.......

What a great Christmas present. I hope they hand it over with some "tinsel" drapped over it. A real adult Christmas is heading your way.

Hi ,
I had the same issue.
Are you a left foot breaker?
Car doesn't like brake and accelerator pressed at the same time.
Since I stopped using left foot to brake - no more limp mode.

Regards

I finally picked up my SRT yesterday . Love it!!! Weather sucked here in melb so its already filthy
Its our first 4wd so it feel strange to be so high up on the road. will take some getting used too. Didn't get much of a drive due to work commitments but planning on a long drive tomorrow

I do have a question .... on a short trip doing the school drop off I noticed the car go into limp mode ( at least that's what I think it's called). I was at a set of lights and on take-off the engine sounded like it was reving but I was getting no power and almost no movement. I had to pull over and restart the car. it was all good after that. then this arvo the same thing. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be worried??? thought I would hit this thread before searching else where
Do you use your left foot to brake?
Car doesn't like left foot brake and press accelerator at the same time.
This has happened to me several times.
Not any more since I stopped using my left foot to brake

Regards

Yes this is the version - think they upgraded to this version the last time I took it in.

Oh, I forgot the Uconnect going blank. A very common problem that most have remedied by pressing the "mute"/Volume" buttons simultaneously to re-boot the screen. It has happenned to me twice in 6 months. Once it corrected itself and once (whilst driving) I hit the mute/volume buttons and it came back on. Some have had terrible problems so you
are not alone. One good thing though is I am sure most if not all of your problems are fixable. Enjoy that car.
I had read about different temperature for one side - but mine is quite a different problem (I think). The issue for me is not that 'one side' is a different temperature but rather, the difference between changing from - say - 20 degrees to 19 degrees is massive. It goes from blowing hot air to freezing cold temperature (okay I might be exaggerating a bit there) when you just change it by 1 degree!

I didn't realise that the screen going blank was a common problem. We had to take it in to the dealer to reset the whole screen. However, since they 'fixed' it (and actually this happened before the fixed it too), we have noticed that it reboots itself - and especially when we are on the phone (and cutting off the conversation). On one occasion, my partner rang me on the mobile while she was driving - and midway through the whole unit just crashed ... you can imagine what my mind was thinking had happened when the phone inexplicably and suddenly cut off!

Thanks for your responses.

Never use left foot for brake!! It's actually dangerous and frustrates me when I see a car accelerating away with the break lights on. In my day (old) you would have failed a drive test driving like that.
So far so good with my car just a few minor things that will be fixed at 1000km service.

Mine defaults back to 21 degrees no matter what I have set the temperature to, say I set 23 degrees when I restart the car it defaults back to 21 degrees, is this the norm with others?, comments please.

I have no such issue. Whatever temp I set it stays there.
