Sorry SJ &L, this was too good not to share. BTW, do you have a deck?

Edit: just realised this is what Hymer shared. Haha...

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

We don't have a dick deck so no, sorry to disappoint.

Have been spending a fair bit of time perusing the MY14 KL Cherokee threads and following the posts of Swamplife and Herb4372. Am starting to get antsy and turning an unusual shade of green. It's like Groundhog day for me all over again except this time its 2014.

Am still loving JGC of course - I've noticed that she (Jeep Girl that is) refers to the CD player as 'Disk' now rather than 'CD'. That must have changed with the upgrade - just a trivial observance of mine.

Did you know also that if you stick your head in the boot space when the lift gate is going down, it won't stop until it hits your head. I found that out today after trying to retrieve a basketball after the close button had been hit.

I sort of assumed that a sensor planted somewhere in the liftgate would recognise that a foreign object was in the way and halt its downward path within maybe a few centimetres of contact with said foreign object.

Ahh no... It only stops when it hits the foreign object and then goes back up. Consider this a public service announcement.

It doesn't hit hard though.
Unless you are raising your head into it, it is just a little tap.

Thanks everyone for the feed back, one other thing I noticed after 13.39.51 upgrade is that the transmission shifting is now very abrupt from 1st through to 4th, this only happens when it is cold, once running temperature gets to normal then it is smooth, this rough gear changing definitely was not there when new (3500 k,s) as I was impressed with how smooth it was.I think the upgrade & the gear change must be a coincidence as they should not be related with the U connect update, any one had this issue??

Experienced the hot/cold air issue for the first time today. Looks like I'll be doing the software update this weekend. I checked the Uconnect and it's not the latest one. Would have thought the update would have been done considering I only picked up the car last week.

Loving the fact that this issue and it's fix was known to me due to this forum.
Feeling really thankful for this site and the amazing people who run, maintain and contribute .

I think the difference is that you are trying to make "phone" calls, while I am apparently making "hone" calls.

So "hone" calls work for sure.

Hi guys,
Can anyone confirm their nav system provides live traffic information?
I have an SRT and assumed it would come with traffic info.
I have played around with the system and have set it up. But nothing happens.
Could it be that it hasn't been activated, or is it not supported in oz
