Not sure how to post a pic

They still cut the trim as there is an aluminium bash plate that goes under the front of the vehicle. Not a super strong one but it still offers protection.

If anyone is on the sunshine coast and needs one, the company that fitted mine was fantastic. Never meet trades people like them. They loved the car as much as I do. They also fit all off road accessories and my ECB was fitted for $500 less than there nearest competitor.

$2,315 fitted and fitted properly.

cheers
I live in Brisbane and ECB factory quoted same price. How long did it take to fit and I believe tow hooks are part of bar also a place for a good aerial. Is the bash plate a part of the bar.

If you are after them for proper protection, I think they are fantastic. They are extremely rigid and look good. If you are after them as a side step, they can be used but are a little awkward, however they would be useful as a step to get objects on and off the roof. The missus doesn't like them, she has trouble getting in and out with them and I tend to rub my leg on them as I get in and out.

I had them fitted by the dealership. They did a good job. If you are going to fit them yourself, you will have to be fairly handy as there is some bodywork involved.

Would I buy them again? Only if I was going to do off roading. Hope that helps.

Took my bar 7 hours to fit, but they only charge for 3 and they absolutely get it right. They are all trained mechanics and the service manager is a top bloke who keeps you informed all the way.
I don't think I have ever had such professional service.
Yes it does have an place for an aerial. Bash plate is part of the bar.

Sorry I forgot to name the place. Its Sunshine Coast Vehicle accessories.

I am trying to decide between Mopar rock rails or Rock Road supersliders. Any one fit the Rock Roads before, would you recommend again?

Hey guys/ gals
I have part of a shopping list and wondered if any one has got better pricing from their dealer. Shipping to Perth seems the real killer, according to the dealers, but I have just started getting quotes from USA retailers. Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Try Amazon or even Ebay, Mopar and many US dealers sell through these sites and even with freight it is usually much cheaper that going through Aust Jeep dealers. Eg, I purchased the genuine side steps for half price delivered, same with door sills, mudflaps etc.

Well about a month ago those dark grey 10 spokes were on sale through Jeep dealers for ~$190 each. They got a shipment of them. Maybe ring around and see if you can source them.

I'm after the black 10 spokes, they are around $200 from the US, might be worth it compared to those local prices. Those trailhawk rims are exy!!!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Has anyone else not been able to get their tow bar supplied/fitted due to supply issues? I got my car 7 weeks ago, and there haven't been any towbars since??

Hi All, I'm about to complete my 10000 km service in QLD before my move to Perth for 2 years. I'll be towing my Camper Trailer all the way, so it will be interesting to see how we go over the 4500 km journey. When I get to Perth, I'll be looking for a decent service location. I'll be living in East Perth and note there is a dealership near Victoria Park. Any recommendation with this, or should I be looking elsewhere?

Hey Butts
Early welcome to West Oz. The dealer you talk of is John Hughes, I have had nothing but issues with the service dept there. The sales guys are good, just a shame about the service dept.
Good service guys are hard to find.
