Seems there's no wait for the SRT tow bars.

GiGi, this is a great site is the Jeep Garage site. All you need to do is punch in the question in the search box and hey presto, up comes a stack of info.

Did this and have a look;
Any recommendations for side steps for 2014 SRT

Especially interesting was Snukes contribution of disappearing side steps. Now that is a great idea, worth looking into for the SRT.

But the general consensus was; "Get a plastic step for the kids".

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

A little update on the misses key Fob that would not program to setting one.
I just updated Uconnect to 13.43.7 while using my key programmed successfully to setting 2 and decided to give it another go in case this update did something to help.

I went and grabbed that key after the update, read the procedure again so as not use my phone. Turned phone to airline mode anyway and took to to read to different options.
Went to the car, grabbed the handle and it moved to setting one position straight away without me having to do anything again. Somehow the update fixed whatever was blocking it.

It seems to want to go at full speed or not at all. I am not looking forward to trying to reverse the van into its parking spot - a somewhat difficult manoeuvre which the Prado handled with ease.
I had another play with this tonight. I can't recall seeing the Hill Start Assist option in the settings before, but it was there tonight after the Uconnect update.

I drove down onto the grass hill near the shed that was causing the same issue as you.
I played with HSA on, off and Low Range in both forward and reversing up the hill.
Low Range, as before immediate pickup and movement. Belinda moved the float with this setting the other day as I told her to and she just told me she didn't like it as it was too sensitive.

HSA On, car won't move when foot is taken of brake pedal, it wouldn't start to move until revs reached at least 1,400rpm.

HSA Off, car rolls down hill when foot is taken off brake pedal. Starts to go up the hill at 1,100-1,200rpm.

That 200-300rom makes a huge difference in the way the car starts to launch. Those fewer revs make it move far slower.

She also had wheel spin again, which is a concern. Why the hell is this 4WD spinning its wheels on a mild grassy hill?

Where did you get this upgrade from? Any major difference in functionality?

The Uconnect site, see this thread for how - UConnect 8.4 International / Export

Willx will update the VIP thread you just posted on to have the updated details.

SOX posted the change-log in his post - direct link: UConnect 8.4 International / Export

I will post my feedback in that thread to keep it on topic.

Must have been a hell of a update to get that many revs

It is also known as the F1 update. Unfortunately it will only last for a month. In the next update in Jan it reduces it by 3,000rpm and reduces the displacement.

It seemed very normal to me as I typed it.
I must watch too much F1.
Fixed my post.

That's what I used to do with the Prado but the Jeep manual says not to use low range on hard surfaces.
