You really need to unbolt them and remove completely each time you want to wash the car or is just clogs it up. In the case of my older white Falcon, the dirt ended up leaving marks into the paint. We had one on the Pajero, and it had a bigger gap to the bonnet, thus allowing it to be cleaned out far more easily without the need for complete removal. Ultimately I don’t think it did much. I have not seen a GC one in person, but I would take note of how much or how little room there is for a good clean out to happen before I would part with my cash.
Hi Snuke , I wish I had one as picked up a stone chip that hit the bottom edge of the screen, a deflector may have saved damaging my beloved jeep I have had them before and would be keen to pick one up ?

Thanks Snuke, you make a very good point, I had one on the Nissan and it was easy to clean behind as I just used the chamois folded on end and I felt it worked ok and saved the bonnet from some stone chips across the leading edge and probably shifted a few bugs away from the windscreen.
But taking your point if the protector is too closely fitted it would be a real pain to clean behind.

Thanks Barboots, you make a good point too, must look at doing this too as wife and I are doing the Caravan thing next year.

I do note the same is not the same in the Jeep, and going through Melbourne's "speed trap" tunnels, the Jeep gains considerable speed. It's a pity the computer is not programmed in the same manner to manage speed limits.
My Overland does keep to speed set even slowing down when you set speed which is less than speed you are traveling and also maintain speed going down hill. We have the normal cruise control but below this if you press adaptive cruise control (bottom left) first then set desired speed it will keep to it which is one of my favorite features. I just wonder if the brake lights come on with gentle braking. I have re read my first sentence and have used the word (speed) too many times but I am too lazy to re type it.

Cheers

I also appreciate the big feedback of what speed the cruise control is set to. It still boggles my mind that with all the disco flashing stuff in the EVIC, it will not give you a confirmed set speed for cruise control.
I know the US guys said it was part of the Advanced Tech package.
The overland does show the cruise set speed on the evic.... would have thought the limited would also?...

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

The SRT also shows the set cruise speed, and holds that speed on downhill runs.

Do you notice if it gears down?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Yours is a Limited, so not sure if you have the same feature, but I would assume so.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Our Overlands, SRT and Summots come with the Advanced Technology Group, the Limited and Laredo don't.
This is what is required for the set cruise speed to be shown. Pretty silly, but I won't lose sleep over it.

Okay, it will bug me every time I push the cruise button, which is all of the time.

The mats are different for Laredo (Part No. DM 1237) and (DM1236) for Limited/Overland and SRT.
Good suggestion! U meant Shevron, right?
