There are a couple of price options, just pick the one you like.

Is Uconnect update download under VIP-under the hood?

I'm toying with idea of going upper level. But apart from bigger storage space, vehicle tracking, build sheets, what other benefits do u see in terms of
after sale technical update (similar to Uconnect download)?

Thanks for ur input.

Anyone else had the TSB applied to the transmission for the CRD? I had mine done about 2 weeks ago and it is back playing up. The shifts today were like a 1980's transmission. This is totally uncool Jeep!

if you need protection then you need it and the bull bar is a neccessity BUT....I don't want to be a party pooper, it does spoil the beautiful lines these cars display.

Thankyou for your Summit comments a few days ago. My question did not raise too much interest but appreciated your inputs.
I finally saw a Summit last week whilst my car was in for its 4850Km service. Now it was black and I do not like black so it may have influenced my thoughts but.....
The Summit was disappointing. The plush headliner material (do you know, the words have gone right out of my head) was nice but because it is in black and the entire interior is black you cannot see it. You do not notice it as being any better than that on the Overland.

The brushed aluminium wheels were YUCK. They looked pitted, they looked dull and almost looked second hand. I was really disappointed. My Overland rims look more upmarket than the Summits.

The extra chrome....yes I did like it and would have liked that on my Overland.

The chrome grille inserts. Sorry Hymer, I loved yours when I saw your pics. The black Summit looked ok but not as good as I had imagined. I now know my black plastic inserts against my white body look much better. The black insert gives clear contrast and enforces the shape & style of the grille. I do not believe I will be adding that accessory to my Overland.

Ok, the Summit has adaptive headlights but to look at it you cannot see the difference so overall, it is difficult to see where the extra dollars are in the Summit but mind you, allow me to come back with further judgement once I have seen a white or non black Summit. This black one was disappointing. You pay for all this quality and finish and it is all lost in a black cavern. If you can hardly see it why pay for it. I am happy with my white Overland with the light beige/frost interior.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

As mentioned above. My car was serviced last week. I now have 5025Km on the clock with fuel consumption of 8.3 so I cannot complain about my consumption. N58 was done as expected. Was provided with a late model Chrysler 300 as a loan car. Nice car but made me appreciate my Overland. Werribee provided good customer service but first service lightened my wallet by $440 including GST. Had I done 10000K the value would be there. I'll try and wack 15000k in time for the 20,000K or 12 month service. Car running well. Cannot complain. No squeaks, rattles or anything. Everything tight and panels all squared up.

Can you do that? I thought that you have to maintain 10Mk between services. I.e you can't just look at the total.

I agree with what you are saying. I would have been a lot happier if I could have had the car 6-9 months to enjoy looking at the front before having to put the bar on, BUT... I do quite like the bar look also. My thoughts might be influenced by the expected benefits of animal protection & better clearance under the front.

Hi Webber, I couldn't agree more about the Summit. I checked out one on site whilst my Overland was being serviced and I'm not disappointed with our choice. The Summit was also black and all the internal trimming was lost and whilst the bling factor is there, it made it less likely to take it out and get dirty. You mentioned sqeaks and rattles, I do have some squeaks and they determined it might be noisy rear suspension of which they are happy to replace. New rear shocks after 10000 km can't be a bad thing. Anyway, can't be happier with my Jeep and I'm looking forward to my drive to Perth with my camper.
