No, I do not believe you can. It's just me being silly. But it does seem silly servicing the car with less than 5000K too.

I actually saw that bull bar on an MY12 in Agnes Water/Town of 1770 18 months ago and thought at the time, "that's the best bull bar I've seen"..and its on a Jeep. I now know it's customed made. I also have a customer who calls in at our nursery who has had one for at least 6 months and I have had a good look at it. He is also exceptionally pleased with it. As said, if you need it then you may as well have the best. They look like they will give the protection of a "tank" coming down road. It may well save your life one day.

You mentioned sqeaks and rattles, I do have some squeaks and they determined it might be noisy rear suspension of which they are happy to replace. New rear shocks after 10000 km can't be a bad thing. Anyway, can't be happier with my Jeep and I'm looking forward to my drive to Perth with my camper.
Good to hear from you Butts_Oz. Nice to have my thoughts confirmed. We do need to "hold our fire" until we have viewed another colour and I do not want to be "criticised" by the black lovers out there but a car that Cars guide claims has a superior interior than the Land Rover that "blows you away" really was lost in black....and I still can't get over those "cheap looking rims" on a Summit. Even if they were highly polished, it may have benefited this "classy" vehicle. As stated, they were dull, pitted, worn looking. Maybe it was only this vehicle but they looked like they had been sourced from a "wreckers yard" to save money.

May need to find out who stocks Shevron in your local area, and order one if they are not in stock. I couldn't find any in stock locally but when in Adelaide I went to an auto spares place where I paid for the mat and was sent to a warehouse to collect it. I can't remember the name or address. The mats are available on ebay if you do a search > shevron dashmat grand cherokee

Sitting in dealership waiting to pick up another company Falcon. Wandered over to the Jeep section, they have a Red Summit, black interior.
I really don't like it, the extra chrome is a turn off to me.
Webber I don't see what you are saying about the pitted finish of the wheels, I just don't like their chromy appearance.
Interior just looks like another black interior.

I jumped in a black interior limited, reinforced why we went the light interior. So much nicer.
Standard Limited seats do have a bit more padding than the Lux II (Overland) option O
I got. But the Nappa feels nicer and the ventilation is awesome so a very worthy trade off.
Seat shape is the same.

The have a Laredo with light interior and leather seats, a White Limited with black wheels and black SRT grill cover. So customizing a little.

Re bonnet protector. There is a white Laredo here with one on. It does have good clearance for ease of cleaning under.
I don't like the look of it on white though. Dark colour cars would be better.

I had a disagreement with the missus about the interior on our limited, I wanted beige, she wanted black. It was a bit difficult to compare since not many dealers have the beige interior to look at. But we went with the beige, just got to make sure it doesn't get marked.

Looks ok as far as the design is concerned, I would buy one tomorrow if it was available in clear, I will do some research when I get home (On holidays in Tas). I think there is a manufacturer in Sandgate who can make one from scratch. As they say... Stay tuned.

Have had the very same argument with my Wife, she wanted black interior also, stuck to my guns and we now have the beige. She was so cranky with me that she refused to get into the car for a couple of weeks, she now thinks the interior is acceptable. Go figure...

PS: had the Jeep since July and no problems with getting it marked, only area that is of concern is that side panel beside the accelerator pedal, it marks easily if you scrape the tip of your shoe on it when getting out.

. Same issues with mine. I decided to rub some leather conditioner onto my door yesterday that I use for my RMs and it cleared up all of the scuff marks nicely. It won't repair deep scratches, but I now have a new looking door again.
