Mine has a slight shudder, but is infrequent, no ACC it is a Limited CRD

Mines a LTD so no ACC - I only noticed this has occurred since the weekend. I know this is a recent thing.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Got the dreaded DPF "warning" tonight as well as a flashing electric throttle control warning and limp mode. Done about 1600km.

Jeep Assist arranged a tow truck and now I don't have a car. Hopefully it will be fixed first thing tomorrow. Not a good start to Christmas.

Fairly light footed and mostly short distances. Occasional runs up the Freeway.

I hope the dealer looking after the repair does the righty and winds up the wick to get it sorted out for you on the day. At the first sign of delays or bullshit, hit the Jeep 1800 and make sure that they're 100% across the situation.

There's no reason it can't be done in a day.

Best of success with it,
Steve

The double sided tape has only lasted about 2 months . It seems that the hot days in Melbourne have peeled it back, particularly the front of the front door where there the strip narrows. This is with very few hot days so far this season.
At this stage I would be very wary recommending buying this product.

Such a pity as they look great and protect the door. I will be pulling them off and getting side steps in the next few weeks.

Here is a follow up on your query, it confirms my suspicions about these so called electronic rust protection gadgets.

Hi, did the DPF warning & limp mode occur at the same time?

What I'd like to know is, do we get any warning that if we don't try and initiate a regeneration soon then the vehicle will enter limp mode?
...or does it just keep quiet and then warn you that it is too late you are now in limp mode go see your dealer.

Hi there had the same DPF error happen to me last week, the dealer fixed it the next day along with the N58 and software update, however now the uconnect doesn't recognise the iPod or aux option... Anyone have any thoughts in this???

I now know that the only real sign you get that the DPF filter is going to clog up is that I noticed a very strong burning smell the day before..
