Thanks guys.
Just put the bonnet protector on. Genuine Jeep one in tint. Don't like how it hides the JEEP badge, might have to get a sticker.

Aparently you can get it in chrome. That's if you want to Hymernise your car.

Is that black or smoke?
The one I saw at a dealership was smoke.

Here is the Hymerised one

MOTORING WRITERS!!!

In yesterdays Cars Guide Used Car section scribe Graham Smith reviewed a Jeep Cherokee KK 2009-11. His transcript was OK ........ BUT..... the accompanying photos showed a GRAND CHEROKEE WK model. who the bloody hell edits these issues??
He describes the mechanicals, comfort and performance fine BUT the reader is totally lead astray by seeing the photos of a totally different vehicle!!
I've left an email to him to this effect. That particular review is not on the Cars Guide website yet. Lets hope they make the adjustment before it goes to air.

See the difference. Am I being too picky?? Am I being too uncharitable??

Send an email to; graham.smith@carsguide.com.au

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

From the Camping Challenge review:

Quote:
It could do with some side steps though as our littlies found it hard to enter and exit and the lack of a third row option is also puzzling.
If he had found the Entry/Exit Mode button and used it, perhaps the 'Littlies' could have scrambled in and out a lot easier.

Hymer - You uncharitable? Not a chance.

Neither it is tinted. Below is the label from the box. I think the one you saw may have been an aftermarket one. The accessories catalog only had Chrome or Tinted listed.

That Hymernised one looks alright. And has the JEEP in the middle.

Asked my daughter her opinion of the new protector. "Don't like it, can't see the Jeep badge. Now people won't know we have a Jeep..."

I got the bling (not really bling) from my friendly local Jeep dealer.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

And in addition with regards to the Overland Camping review, the V8 Petrol is the same price as the Diesel. He has confused and written the V6 Petrol pricing for the V8 petrol pricing. Clueless.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Laredo Reversing Camera - Just had it fitted.

First impressions ...

Someone at Jeep Chrysler must have been on some kind of vision altering substance when they picked this camera....perhaps its looks great to them... Jeep please could you pass some of that substance around so that we Laredo owners can use this @#$%^&* camera to see what you see!

If I come back as a fish it might help as well.... its an OMG moment! waited over 3 months for nothing.

NO GRID LINES !
FISH BOWL - IMPOSSIBLE TO JUDGE ANY DISTANCE.

Its the biggest joke Ive seen for sometime... as old tennis dude McEnroe used to say ... 'YOU CANT BE SERIOUS' JEEP.

Lol...I just have to laugh....!

Calling Aussie Laredo owners who have had a camera installed....have you replaced it yet ? If so what did you use or who replaced it for you !?
