Or you could just get a full set of generics from Repco for $30 and trim them to size. That's what I did, and they look just fine

Before our holidays I just grabbed the retail store deep trough mats out of my Prado. They fit quite well, and from what I've seen, crap all over the "design" of the genuine rear floor mats. I bought them years ago for $40 all up.

I've taken the boot false floor out as my fridge is far happier directly on the spare tyre. You could always template "by the metre" rubber onto it too.

Cheers,
Steve

Can you make generics clip in somehow? The main reason I want the genuine ones is to be able to clip them in place.

My 'big red toy' just arrived. Went to see it in the backyard (being prepped) at the dealership today, take delivery next week.

It's dirty n dusty overall externally including tyres n wheels. Looked as if it's been driven for a while without being washed. I was scratching my head..... I will certainly check the odometer reading when taking the delivery. Did anyone have the similar experience?

Had close look at tailgate n doors which are all aligned, ACC camera mounted securely, saw dark skid plates which only cover limited sections of underbody. Coolant level in the reservoir only touched Minimum mark.

Saw an overland demo on the show floor with two front chrome tow hook which look very classy. The sale guy said it's fixed at the dealership as an option NOT from the factory.

I checked a few suppliers of cargo mat n slush mat from US on eBay, all of whom charged 'killing' freight.

this is what you want. i have the same. certainly not that expensive as it is already in the country.

Jeep WK Grand Cherokee Genuine Mopar Slush Floor Mats Part CH82212214AC | eBay

definitely worth it though they are not a perfect fit for these reasons :

passenger side for my14 has 2 hooks. if you don't care much you can put the mat on top of the existing carpet mat as the mat only has 1 hook hole. driver side is fine and fits well.

rear mats are not 'deep' enough. though i don't think this is an my14 issue… i think the mats are just not very deep.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

There is something a little 'weird' going on with my GC. Took my GC Limited in for the factory recall update and fix, also update for the Uconnect. Prior this my GC has been performing perfectly and I have not experienced any problems in the last 7000km's (since the air con issue).
Since the 'Fix' my speedo readout has disappeared while driving, had to stop and do an engine restart for it to come back, the day before I lost my Radio station setting, the centre screen was blank but the radio was still playing on the previously set station, had to do a retune scan to get it back.
What's going on here?? Contacting the Dealer today to discuss this.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Losing the EVIC is exactly what the recall is supposed to fix, so very odd.
Might as well reboot the Uconnect too yourself Hold Mute and Tune buttons for reboot.
Wont have to re-enter any info.

I like a review that actually gives some good critical feedback

Jeep Grand Cherokee 2014 Review - motoring.com.au

Except they are wrong about the RWD until front is required, it is Full Time 4WD.

I'd like to get around to testing that mate. From under my butt, it appears traction loss at the rear is required to bring the front end to the party.

I've got to swap back to my city tyres, so I'll try to have a play when I've got it on the trolley jack.

Cheers,
Steve
