If "Regional Managers" are like they are elsewhere, then their information is not always reliable. I'm still not convinced that Australia will NOT be getting the Summit.

Holy poo... The 2014 SRT is quoted at 0-100kmh in 4.4 sec.. This is quicker than a Merc C63 & BMW M3

The Motor Report: Auto News And Reviews
Hey Robo,
Your signature pic shows a Summit. You have listed that you think you have ordered an Overland. Does that mean you want that bright white Summit in your signature with an Overland badge or what. I love the SRT too but why would someone in their 60's want to get from 0 -100kmph in 4.4 seconds.
Can you imagine the look on pedestrian faces when this old guy with grey hair "floors" it at the lights to achieve his 4.4 seconds performance. I'll leave that to your age group and I will stick with that more conservative Summit if we get it over here.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Milous,
Looking at the RHD Summit features list you posted in the first post. About a third of the way down the list:-
Australia Equipment Group.....what is that?
Exterior mirrors w/supplemental signals.......does that mean indicators on the mirrors?
Exterior mirrors Courtesy Lamps......what are they. I am presuming the indicators glow softly at night?

Webber my friend... we both know... that I don't know.. what the heck I'm getting !!

Will need to find a white overland pic for my profile for consistency ( if one existed )

Would love a matching SRT but I already have a fast car

At this point I'm more convinced there will be a Summit here than not.. But for me I don't want to spend $80K+ which is what I expect they will cost, I will be happy with a 2014 Overland with specs that align with the current model - hopefully with with ADG and QDII as standard as they are today.

Saw that, thought the same thing; he may not have known the answer, but at least he responded to you!

If the SRT really hits 4.4 to 100, thats very impressive. Love to have one, but would prefer to be able to go off road without ripping off any body parts
