Last time I was out of car for four days. Penrith dealer refused to look at the car saying that I needed to it take to the dealer that I bought it from. This time I am not going to contact Penrith. Even though Penrith is closest to me. My dealer is pacific highway Artarmon. I live in Blacktown, NSW and Artarmon is not the very close. Not very happy. I don't think I will keep this car for very long. Will sell it soon and never ever a Jeep again.
Feeling your pain. This is an issue that I think is in need of proper investigation by Jeep Australia.
If only I could find their address..... And know they will reply.

Make you sure you ask an official complaint is registered. Call Jeep Aus and file a complaint, get a case number.

Does anyone have Jeep Australia's contact number? I apologise if this has been asked before.

Not much point in calling, they sound sympathetic, but really they dont care. Dont call back, give you the run around, avoid you any way they can, and then, on the rare occasion that you do get to talk to someone, they play the game they mastered called "pass the buck".

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

There is something not right here. What with Gforce and now ansamoiz reporting problems on just this page alone. Considering the number of regular posters on this Aussie site the problems do appear to be disproportionately high. If this same percentage of reported problems (no matter how minor) was happenning in the general Jeep Grand Cherokee buying community you would think more would have been heard of it. At the very least their service departments would be completely "bogged" down handling the complaints. For one who has a faultless car it does make one feel uneasy when heading out for a pleasant days driving thinking when will something go wrong for me and leave me stranded. It just doesn't make sense. Maybe we are just an unlucky lot on this forum.

Possibly. But my service centre, the tow truck driver and even the lady on the Jeep Assist phone line said the limp mode issue I encountered (I wrote about this on the problem thread - not this one) of CRD MY14s was not uncommon. Becoming more common was the feeling I got from all three.
As past owner of an NS Pajero where the initial models had many DPF/Limp mode issues (later fixed after much customer complaint - and a responsive manufacturer) the change to a new make is making me wonder if I backed the right maker.
Rather than reading the 2011 Australian consumer law rules I'd rather be looking for some great places to take my otherwise sensational vehicle......

I too thought I was all but trouble free or at least only minor hiccups, but, I am now getting more of the issues that others have reported earlier, and although are still not serious issues, my confidence is this product is waning & my faith in Jeep Chrysler has all but diminished, should something serious occur I believe, like many others I will be left to fend for myself. 6 weeks after showing the dealer the cracked rear inside trim & they agreeing to replace it, I revisited them to get an update, yep sure as s#!t it was not ordered, they have to take a photo & forward it to head quarters for approval, so you guessed it back to square one.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Twscoot and now KevinP. Another two names. Surely the only complainers have not all gravitated to this site. Chrysler dealerships are certainly painting a picture of unreliability. Would you believe the $1000 deposit I gave to Frankston Jeep for the MY12 I never got has still not been returned. They always have an excuse why they have not got back to me. Sent another email off tonight.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Unfortunately it seems to be a common problem on some cars that do short trips. My wife drives 3k’s to work in traffic so that was my excuse to opt for a slightly larger petrol engine.

Here’s a bit of a rundown on what happens with the diesel Subaru.

Not sure if Jeep has similar tuning tools that could possibly assist to help fix issues. I know it’s a headache but I’d rather a 15 minute DIY than trekking to the closest service centre (provided they are willing to help)

edit: Not sure why the video doubles up..

I am blown away Captain. Excited to see you back here. I sent you an email back before Christmas and got no reply so I thought we had lost you into the never never.
