Try setting your cruise control to 100kph as you come up Razorback from Camden, have faith and hang on.

I believe the difference here is that we have to pay for the Services, so a Dealer would be crazy to knock the dollars back.
Warranty work is a little different in that the Dealer is paid by Chrysler Jeep at a reduced hourly rate, so it is not as profitable, like most things it gets back to money...

All these question are best asked in that thread.

Read the old version thread to learn a lot about the procedure, all clearly explained.

Thanks mate.

Reading Josephr's feedbacks from his dealer, one could have to pick up the bill if home DIY muck up the Uconnect. I think it's better leave the upgrade to dealer despite lagging behind.

Your decision of course, pretty hard to stuff up, nothing a reset won't fix.

Got the camera installed today for my Laredo. Jeep should be ashamed of them self it's quality is what I would have expected ten years ago. This is the best car by a mile I have ever owned. The people running jeep Australia should not be in the job it's embarrassing for them. How can they be so out of touch.

What did the dealer have to say about the camera quality?

Sounds like class action dispute is the only answer

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Potentially stupid question (that may or may not have been previously answered but I can't find it) and also this doesn't affect me but am asking on behalf of a friend.

The Laredo camera option and the issue as I understand it. Am I correct in saying to my friend (just so I understand it in my own mind) that if you option up to the back-up camera, that CJD Australia and dealerships are not supplying the following OEM parts as supplied by Milous' post as below:

Quote:
Camera is now 68137943AF $262 MSRP

Wiring 68225287AA $85.00

Applique:

5PS79AXRAA - Brilliant Black $279
5PS79GW7AA - Bright White $279
5PS79JBFAA - Sapphire Crystal $62.25
5PS79JRPAA - Deep Cherry $279
5PS79JSCAA - Billet Silver $279
5PS79KARAA - Maximum Steel $279
5PS79KBUAA - True Blue $279
5PS79KEPAA - Deep Auburn $62.25
5PS79KFSAA - Cashmere $114
5PS79KGZAA - Black Forest $62.25
5PS79LAUAA - Granite Crystal $279

(no idea why the pricing variances, but this is what's currently shown...)

Instead, they are supplying subpar camera's that have been sourced from who knows where (although I have read and do understand that some camera's sourced from China for $20 odd bucks seem to be quite fine) but that's beside the point.

Does anyone have the parts listed from Milous installed, operational and are happy with?

Or have I become thoroughly confused and lost the plot?
