Beggsy, are you sure it is the aircon lines rattling. Is the noise coming from behind the uconnect screen? I had a rattle that sounded like it was from behind the uconnect screen, dealer said air con lines, pulled out uconnect system but could not find source of rattle. The noise ended up being a heat shield on the right hand side near gearbox that was touching chassis rail, I bent the heat shield away from chassis and have been rattle free for several months.

hi G6Jet, good question, they put some foam in between the air on lines and that reduced it to only happening above 85 Kph. Will tell the dealers to look at the heat shield , thanks for the tip!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Well I just got my car back from the 10k service and one of the servicemen found a sponge in my airbox that appears to have someone's initials on it... I've never opened the airbox before and no one else has been under my bonnet so I wonder if it's a souvenir from the jeep factory?

When topped up the fuel, I noticed that there is small 'drainage' hole on the bottom of rubber wall. Is it normal?

Tnx

Same as mine. Mind you I tend to put some paper towel under the filler hole to catch any drips.

There needs to be a drain here for when water / rain bypasses the outer fuel cover which is not waterproof.

That's what I thought too. Every time I've filled up fuel has spilled out and drained down that little hole.

The fuel then seeps through the exterior wheel arch material. I noticed that when I tried to fill the tank using a hi-flow pump. Pulled the trigger and sprayed diesel all over me, head to toe. Luckily I was able to duck into the caravan and wash off and change.
