One thing I noticed that TSB says 'with engine running' when insert USB, compared to Instruction from SOX 'don't run the engine' during update. Confused.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

The running of the engine would only be to ensure you dont have a flat battery.
When the updates are done in the dealership, the instructions tell them to connect to a backup battery supply to ensure there is no power failure during the update.
Also, you need to ensure that the "power" does not timeout. Best to have ignition in the ON position.

Boxheadmr,

Yes, they are the Micro2 as shown.

ENFORCER,

The dealer charged $2.78 + GST for a 30A down to $1.60 + GST for a 10A; looks like service and spares are the business to be in?

Thanks. No wonder my battery voltage went up from 13v to 14v right after service at the dealership for ACC issue.

I have never had the car on, it takes about 16mins on average.

Same here. If you have a flat battery after 15-30mins with just the radio on, I think that you have bigger problems.

Well for all those believe this vehicle is trouble, I've just spent the day watching others get into trouble on the Lancelin Dunes, and all I needed was a quick turn of the dial to Sand, adjust my height to OR1 and off we went to highest point on the dunes. No problems here.

Awesome. Thanks for sharing. I wanna take the camper trailer on the beach up towards di point. A little nervous about that but I'll wait until I have tow hooks and go with someone else. Had no trouble getting across the cutting without the ct.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Can't imagine DIP would be a problem, the sand isn't all that soft there, even in the cutting. Doesn't look like my GC will be here in time for my Fraser trip, will have to take the cruiser....

After 4 months of finger pointing between dealer and Jeep Australia, I now a that pathetic fishbowl camera. I am ready to change to another camera. Are you able to share the details of the one you have sourced thanks.
