Yes, the first time I had the alert that it was regenerating was at 8,000kms, didn't enter limp mode and then said it has successfully completed.
Second time was this morning (@8,800kms) - said it was regenerating about 1 min before I got to work. Could not keep driving as I had a meeting to get to, so shut down the car.

Sounds like it is working as normal, it should re-enter regen mode next time you are at highway speed and it detects pressure is building behind the filter.

My Big Red Fire Truck has 6,800k's.
No issues with regen.
Build is 16th June 2013
Last Uconnect update is 13-39-51. Any later ones? Am going to try a Uconnect download myself.

I have purchased from the USA an extra genuine Jeep Centre Console Bin for our Grand Cherokee. It is available for $128.00 if any of our members would like to get rid of that CD Player. It is complete with the 12v power outlet and the internal LED light with switch and harness.
PM me if you are interested.

The first one is the one I installed, but there are a couple of others you can also consider.

Hymer, my version (Laredo) is 13.43.7 as loaded by the dealer yesterday. It was supposed to fix the chattering reverse camera, but doesn't.

Is anyone with DPF problems using additives? I used them in my last car (Prado) and always had more particulate matter in the exhaust. The engine was the old banger 1KZ. Just thinking that might be a contributing factor.....

Has anyone else with a Limited found the same.

Certainly not one on mine.
Definitely an alarm on the Laredo. I locked one of my kids inside and it started going off.

Interesting, must be missing something here, how do you activate it? (apart from kids in car) I don't see any red flashing dash light on dash and there is no panic alarm.

I left the sunroof open while at the dog park and something set it off... probably dog shit covered flies
:what:
Got two off duty female cops attention though. One was rather hot... in a "you've been a very very bad boy" kinda way.

Cheers,
Steve

No there isn't any flashing lights. I heard the alarm going and ignored it, wasn't until my daughter came up to me crying...

Just get someone to lock you inside and open the door, probably only work for the rear doors that don't have auto unlock.

Panic alarm.. I don't see the point? Perhaps us Aussies are too laid back so they thought we wouldn't need it.
