Unfortunately, much of that information is lost in the sea of comments, which is a pity.
The thread started out as a MY14 release information, which really has run it's course.
Why not start threads with specialised matters? It sure makes it a lot easier to follow, and even more important, find the answer to the issue you confront.
Cruise Control, Recovery Hooks, Towing, Remote Start, all have specialised threads, and I for one certainly find it a lot easier to find information in those threads, without trolling through these 20,000 posts.
Whilst I agree with your and Snuke's sentiment, overall that is actually what has happened.

This original thread however, I will always think has enormous value for general chit-chat amongst Aust owners and should not be left to die.

Jeep Garage is unusual when compared to a number of other forums I follow. (this is the only vehicle one). Normally, moderators will look at a particular post and actually move it into a more appropriate thread. This is what I am used to.

I understand that the moderators of the other forums are probably fully paid up employees of, for example Fairfax, and is their full time job to ensure posts get posted under the 'correct' thread but when you don't have that luxury (of full time paid employee's to do that), then things tend to get a bit muddled and you know, in the greater scheme of things, that's actually ok as well.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Webber use this as your base - Export Grand Cherokee 2011+ - Jeep Garage - Jeep Forum

The Export section where all our relevant posts are.

We have just gone on a huge run of DPF talk, BennO has tried multiple times for people to post vital info in the DPF thread, only for it to be fragmented here and there. If some other new hot topic arises, all this DPF talk gets lost, and then some poor sap drops by and asks a question that should be clearly detailed in the DPF thread.

This is a general thread and sure talk about all aspects, but when we start having post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post after post of a specific subject, it should be in its own thread to help everyone.

If I was a Mod on here then I would be doing as I do on my own website and moving the posts to the relevant thread.

I've had threads moved by the mods - and thankful for it. They know the site better than me and they have put my questions in a spot that will get the best result.

I suspect the mods have given up on this thread.

I pointed to Scott that he had made a duplicate thread in the SRT area, as one had been created on the same subject the day before in this WK2 area, he said this entire section is a mess that he can no longer follow.

Several have, and sorry to use this as a point, but if we didn't have a ton of posts that should be in specific threads elsewhere, it would be easier for you to find.

It is created by the Load Levelling Suspension. Some have it as a problem, most don't. Seems there aren't alternative shocks that fit. There was a service bulletin to fix the problem, it worked for a few.
In one of the threads listed below some fixed it by packing thick grease at the top of the shock.

There are actually several threads about this problem on Jeep Garage

Wk2 Rear Knocking Noise Aussie GC Laredo

2014 GC Limited rear shock noise

Rear end Clunking and rattling noise! :((

Here is one on Aus Jeep Offraod
WK2 - Rear knocking noise - AUSJEEPOFFROAD.COM - AJOR

Some other one.
2014 Grand Cherokee - Rear Knocking / Creak Noise? - JeepForum.com

Not sure if there is a thread on this one and I'm sure Snuke will let's us know, but has anyone found the front passenger creaks. Can't find it anywhere. (Before I get the how heavy is your ......, I wouldn't think that 64 kg is that heavy)

It doesn't creak - It moo's. And I am 5'11" and 67 kilos so hardly a lard-arse but yes, it's only the passenger's seat - never the drivers on ours only the passengers. Wiggle a bit and it stops.

There is a thread in the US section already but I can't be bothered looking for it. Search something like - Seats Moo'ing.
