Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Does anyone have a contact point for Jeep Aust that we can use to educate them ( politely of course ). Having info of what is coming and what has already been allocated would make choosing colour, model and options much better. For them and Us.

haha, i have an idea, lets all pick a date and time, and inundate them with calls about exactly the same thing. Maybe then they will realise their short cumings.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Those of us that have placed orders are possibly not a priority to Jeep AU, we have waited patiently & maybe for some not so patiently for details. I would suggest that about 80% of us will hang in there, which allows Jeep AU to bring in standard models to hit the impulse buyer on release. Jeep AU must have some strategy that we just cannot grasp at the minute.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

My experience in the corporate word is that there is no plan, no strategy, just leave it to the internal process people and it will sort itself out - or not. Those that have ordered (like me - mid Jan) will put up with waiting, whinge a lot (like me) but will eventually get what we have ordered. To Chrysler AU it is just another model release, no big deal - their only concern is (a) how many units ordered and (b) how many units delivered to dealers for THIS MONTH - next month will wait until next. month. Suck it up!!

Production for Switzerland is just getting started. About 200 built so far, but only a dozen Summit models (mostly CRD), of which none have shipped. All other models are shipping, in small quantities so far, and no CRD's have shipped at all. All CRD's for worldwide distribution are/will be going through extended QC. I don't believe any have been released yet to any country. Most Summit production so far has been for the U.S., export production will slowly increase in the months ahead.

Milous,

I think the real issue is, what options to US Overland seem to be on every AUS Overland and therefore are probably being issue as standard for the AUS market?

Milous,

thank you very much for your support.

That means it will be possible and I can really hope, that my Summit will be available on end June / July.

Great!!! :-)

Milous, I thought you recently said their were 60 CRD's in that shipment to Australia? I will have to check back to find your comments.
