Not 100% sure, and OK to be corrected.

I think the sump oil pan is attached to a casting that is attached to the engine block, meaning two points to be sealed. The dealer was referring to the seal at sump pan as the 'lower' sump seal. The leak in my JGC was from the 'upper' sump seal which I assume is between the casting and the engine block. The engine mounting frame assembly, front diff and drive shaft had to be removed to do the job. All seems fine now.

Hey Folks,

Vehicle built.....

Built - Pending Inspection: (I) 03/31/2014 09:27 PM CDT Detroit Jefferson Assembly, MI
Bay Location Update 04/01/2014 08:42 AM EDT N/A

Something I noticed in all the listings many of the highlighted red sections have different CDT,CST,EST, EDT.

I assumed Central Std Time, Eastern Std Time, wrong track?

Does CDT mean Central Daylight Savings Time?

Just curious as they are all different Gr8Ness has a different designation.

Anyway, vehicle is built and waiting on a build sheet to check.

Excited again! LOL!

Oh wow .. Far to complicated for me haha
thanks for your help fellas.

Will take it in and get looked at some point when I organise a service. Really hoping those clowns just forgot to put the plug thing in properly.

That issue aside, are Tsb and updates etc part of warranty? If I were to take my car to another non jeep place, and only take it in to jeep for those things, do they have to do them for free ?

Yes. TSB's are part of warranty. All dealers, when servicing your Jeep, should plug the computer into your diagnostic port, which should then tell them what updates are required for your vehicle.
The problem appears to be that Jeep Australia are a long way behind what the USA releases. There does not appear to be any logical reason for that except they continue to use disks instead of having online downloads.

Here's a short video of mine going through the mud. Unless necessary, this will likely be the last time I drive through something like this. It's been a bitch to clean.

A bull bar is another solution, the ARB and Uneek bars improve the approach well.
I had no issues playing in the dunes north of Perth (Wilbinga), in fact in some cases better than the rest in these photos. I went where all these went and many more places. There is a bit of a learning curve, over my old 80 & 100 series cruisers. No more long run ups, just drive to the base of the dune and drive up.
