Hi all, Milous just said in this thread : 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

I tell ya, Milous' info is invaluable. I just had my order postponed to after this date. Looks like I just made it.

Apparently they'll have a new work-horse in place! I believe it was copied from some Mustang!!.

A proto-type was spotted just recently.

No I didn't, just comparing it to other 4wds I've driven running the same tyre pressure along the same roads.

Also does anyone else reckon the air suspension on the overlands is utter crap on corrugated roads?
I am thinking you have a serious issue. Would get it to a dealer quick and smart. The oil pressure light should not come on, on the angles the jeep can attain.

Yep!
Its crap on all roads, but still better than any Hilux suspension.

Yeah true but at least you can fit aftermarket suspension to a hilux.

If you can afford them icon (IVD) shockies are the best I've used, though they were on a Prado, not sure if they have anything for a lux. King or Fox shocks are supposed to be good aswell.

JGC SHOCKERS;
In todays Cars Guide, some progress by Jeep Oz on the shocker problems. Slow going. Seems they are now accepting its not the shockers but the top mounts.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

GLITCH.

Had my first GLITCH today. The radio was on AM (3AW) and going OK. Pulled up and went and got some caravan things from CARAC, Dandenong.

Come back out and started up.
The radio went on to 3AW, sound but no associated controls, o stored stations.

Couldnt go to FM, couldnt mute. Couldnt search.

Had a USB in with music. That was fine.

So resorted to that long touted remedial procedure of; Dual pressing of Volume and Search buttons.

EVIC went blank and then come on perfectly as though nothing had happened.
Upshot is the vehicle's back to normal.
Another minor blip is that sometimes the ouside temperature doesnt read. Only happened twice but returned to normal.
