Mine does that from time to time. Have reported it to the dealer but unable to solve it as it never occurs while it is there.

I've also had this issue once and am optimistic that the TSB posted earlier in the week will be the fix. There was an enormous list of Uconnect issues the update was supposed to address.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Installed my Summit grill today. Stuck my arms down from the top used a wide flat bladed stubby screwdriver, not too difficult once I understood the technique. Took about an hour, maybe a bit longer. Saved myself $130 for installation.

Won't be getting a fix as service personnel believe that this is the currency operation and hence weren't worried about it. Had 2 mechanics look at it on delivery yesterday as it wasn't "fixed" and they didn't think it was an issue.

Apart from the tow pack nonsense (mine wasn't optioned with it), the problem with this diagnosis is why does it only affect some Jeeps with self-levelling shocks, and why does the noise go away for a while when new shocks are fitted?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Does one of these OEM replacement shocks come with a new top mount? It's not uncommon for an unconventional damper to be supplied with its own specific mounting bushes, for example.

Just a thought...

Cheers,
Steve

Saw this on the CBS site, but it doesn't refer to exports. 870,000 vehicles is that US only ??

Didn't someone post about tight fitting brake lines with slight crimps in them, near the end couplings. Seemed to be dismissed by some...

. Wondering if this is the related problems?

Yes, we're affected, discussed in the recall thread - Product Safety Recalls Australia

Unlikely, it appeared to be at different locations

I've experienced once where Uconnect went into silent mode, absolute silent with Radio, Navigation, Media. I think this TSB is the fix. Has anyone experienced the problem or have the TSB applied by a dealer?
