Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

The Park Brake thing is less of a concern for offset, probably worse for frontal though as our is more intruding. My ankle is always placed right up against it.
Seatbelt and air bag issue is still relevant.

Hopefully we never have to worry about a frontal. I'll have the ARB bullbar in about 4 weeks, that should give a bit more protection. As for the park brake, I am only 5'8" and actually forget it exists.

Just spoke with TJM Coburg who are surprised at how many people have come in to ask about fitting a bullbar to a Jeep! They are turning people away at the moment because they what to be sure ours is ok. Even if it is ok, I don't think they will do anymore because ARB are the opposition.

We're all very different with regards to our driving positions obviously. I honestly don't notice nor come into contact with the park brake when I drive. I'm 5'11 and I comfortably sit with my left leg relaxed against the centre console and echo Auscop's sentiments that I forget it is even there.

Tough gig being a vehicle designer and dealing with all the ergonomic not to mention safety issues that all that brings with it.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

The build status for my JGC currently says "Vessel Loaded 315 04/09/2014 09:00 PM EDT Curtis Bay, MD - Departed Curtis Bay, MD". I am wondering how to track the vessel it is on.

I know sites like Live Ships Map - AIS - Vessel Traffic and Positions - AIS Marine Traffic gives us the tracking info. But how do I get which vessel it is on?

Any help is much appreciated guys. Thank You

One Small Step for Jeep, One Smaller Step for the Dealer.
Now all you need to do is confirm that what they built is what you ordered. That will set the status for the Smaller/Large Step for the Dealer.
