This was my big concern, but the radar was spot on. Very happy

One front sensor may need an adjustment, not sure yet, but I imagine that won't be an issue.

Personally, I do think the polished ECB looked better but they were sooooo arrogant. I haven't checked their website to see if they have removed the claim that it is ACC compatible. They never did send through contact details of installers who could vouch for the product, nor did they confirm that the ACC had full function during the R & D stage. At least with the ARB my car still works as it should!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I heard that the MY15 JGC will be coming with a 9-speed ZF transmission. Does anyone know for sure?

99.99999% sure it isn't. No major changes for the MY15. The WL might have something different.

Hi All,

How are people finding the durability of the suede in the leather seats?

Got a flat tyre last night. Timing is perfect with everything closed for Easter and supposed to go away with the caravan. Really pissed...

I put the steel spare on and had the tpms still showing no pressure in that wheel.
Drove again later and it showed pressure in the wheel. Then all of a sudden it went back to zero pressure???

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Bigskiddy - there is no TPMS sensor on the spare. We found this out a few months ago after getting a flat and I had a whinge about it then.

From the Operating Manual (page 248) -:

Quote:
'There is no pressure monitoring sensor in the spare tire (sic, US spelling ). The TPMS will not be able to monitor the tire pressure. If you install the spare tire in place of a road tire that has a pressure below the low-pressure warning limit, upon the next ignition switch cycle, the TPM.... blah blah blah'

No, not true, the 9SP can't handle the torque, it is for the Cherokee and lower or similar torque engines.
This is also used on the the lower torque Range Rover Evoque.

I rang ECB (on the free 1800 number) on a couple occasions. The first time was regarding the tow hooks and I got the answer straight away. The 2nd time I was told they were in a meeting and would call me back soon, sure enough about an hour later they called and my install question was answered. I think my front parking sensor work ok, but most of the time I have them turned off.

I am glad someone has a good experience from ECB. I am too find them arrogant and produce false and misleading advertising, they have lost a sale from me and any person I can talk to.... and convince.

Is it just me or does anyone else see the resemblance??

I reckon if a storm trooper drove a car it would be a white Overland.

Can't see it if the info below is reliable. Sourced from: Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 - future Jeep information

  • Order banks open - June 2014
  • Production startup - July 21, 2014
  • Sales launch - September 1, 2014
  • 5th and next to last model year for the 4th generation Grand Cherokee
  • Laredo, Limited, Overland, Summit and SRT models continue
  • Same drivetrain as 2014 models
  • Minor changes
  • New: Active Noise Control System (Summit and SRT)
  • New: Acoustic windshield (Summit)

If you can open the link there is some other predictions/speculation on future Jeep models and specification changes.
