Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

And finally, back to Mopar and parts. We totalled a windscreen when the car was 1 week old, 6 weeks quoted to get a new screen. We are still waiting. There have been earlier posts with the same delay. A current vehicle, a not even a windscreen in stock. Un bloody believeable.

A mate has a MY 14 and had his windscreen fitted by the local windscreen supplier. Apparently they have fitted a few so there is an after market screen available.

I had my windscreen replaced last year and O'Brians had non OEM in stock and a few days for the OEM, which I waited for.
Who have you tried to get a screen off ?

I understand the windscreens in the higher spec ( overland, Summit, SRT) are different.
Might be something to do with the adaptive cruise and collision avoidance systems

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I have two Uconnect related issues: 1) Engine Off Power Delay: mine does not have this option under Engine Off Option; and 2) Display Mode: Night, I pressed + or - button to adjust Brightness Level at Night, but the level does not changed at all (it's fixed at level 5). I did the same for Brightness Level at Day under Display Mode: Day, and the level can be adjusted properly.

Has anyone had same problems, or both issues are normal? Thanks in advance.

I found that i can adjust my day settings during the day but not the night settings. I then found that the night settings can be adjusted when it got dark during the night.

Do you mean Headlight Off Delay?

Personally I have never touched this. It has been on Auto since day one and never altered.

Version 14.05.03. No, not headlight. Looking at your screen shot, yours doesn't have it either. I vaguely remember it's there under version 13.59. Here's excerpt from manual:

Engine Off Power Delay
When this feature is selected, the power window switches, radio, Uconnect® Phone system (if equipped), DVD video system (if equipped), power sunroof (if equipped), and power outlets will remain active for up to 10 minutes after the ignition is cycled to OFF. Opening either front door will cancel this feature. To change the Engine Off Power Delay status, touch the “0 seconds,” “45 seconds,” “5 minutes” or “10 minutes” soft-key. Then touch the back arrow soft-key.

Interesting. I did this at night, but it's in garage with all fluorescent lights on. The sensor wherever it maybe in the car may think its daytime. I will try tonight with lights off.
