Any info would be appreciated, thanks
Same here, ended up buying the laredo 4x4, I agree the tech and extras on the limited look good, but if the coin is burning a hole in dem pants, I'd say go for it

I bought the laredo in nov. for 49K QLD drive away petrol (metallic, front bonnet protector), I know not a great price, but the luxury tax on the ltd. put me off, I mean for that amount of money I can enjoy so many more litres of fuel and what nots, also If you do off-roading you can get the adjustable suspension with the 18's as standard plus you can opt for the sunroof as extras added.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I think you'll be happy with the Laredo. It is very well equipped for a base line vehicle. I personally don't beleive the Limited is worth the extra dollars for what you get in additional features, but each to their own.

The prices of these things have certainly come down from a year ago. I paid $55.5k for mine back in May last year with the only additional items thrown in being a towbar, "premium" paint colour and a full tank of diesel. That was considered a good deal back then, particularly in Perth!

Btw, my car is booked in next week for the new DPF and rear shockers. I'm also having the footrest fitted. I'll keep you posted.

As a Limited owner, I agree, it is not worth $10K more than a Laredo, no way no how. If I hadn't convinced myself that I would get most of that differences back with resale, then I would have gone a Laredo.
Every time I get in the Ltd I am very happy we got it over a Laredo though.

Try the link below for info on chrome sidesteps. I have the same tubular sidesteps as Snuke, bought them off ebay, fairly easy to fit, allow about 2hrs for fitting.

Can a MY14 3.6Lt V6 owner tell me what fuel you need to use. Is it premium or standard?

Not dealer, it was from Everest Sports, found on eBay, there are other sellers on there that have them too.

See the Side Step thread from this point on - Chrome Side Steps

Can I ask, which dealer did you get these quotes from? Was the leather in the laredo aftermarket?

Thanks
The included leather seats were to be after-market from Doyles at Artarmon. I've seen their work and is on par with genuine Jeep upholstery - maybe even better in some cases, e.g. choices in stitch colour, choices of leather e.g. nappa, seat heating etc.

The dealer was from the North Shore but I believe that similar deals have been achieved by others as well.

ENFORCER, I just bought off Castle Hill and had great service. No probs so far.

BTW, the sales guy who helped me and one other have since left Castle Hill. They seem to go through a lot of salesmen/women there.
