That speaks volumes about the underlying organisation.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Does anyone know when and how the headlight washers operate?
I have noticed every now an then when I use the wiper/wash function on the windscreen, the headlight washers activate, but I have no control over this.

Any thoughts.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I haven't paid much attention to it myself Domo but I did find this on the WK2Jeep site. It refers to the operation of it from the MY11 onwards for select export models so I assume it includes the MY14s that have this feature.

Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 - Headlamp washers

They come on automatically with every 4th/5th use of the windscreen washers.

I think "They come on automatically with every 4th/5th use of the windscreen washers" when the headlights are on.
That is, you can wash your windscreen as many times as you like and the headlight washers wont activate unless the headlights are in use.

I tried researching this in the Manual. "Headlight Washers" are mentioned in the index, but the page it sends you to does not mention Headlight Washers, only windscreen washers.

You cannot selectively 'command' them to activate by themselves.

I'm sorry, but any car towing a load, on a bloody hot day, climbing a range or driving into the wind is going to get warm.

I was climbing cunninghams gap towing probably 500kg on a 39deg day and mine moved to 105 degrees. I backed off a little and the temp came back down.

A friend with a Triton towing a small van had to pull over twice and let his motor cool down to make it up the range.
Don't be sorry... I agree with your view.
I do like to know the specifics just to be clear.

Gearing up for a trip to the top end during the wet towing a camper trailer.

On another topic am I right in thinking that once our vehicles are in
vin info booking... That shipping is imminent.?

Cheers

Yep, I think you might be right there, good point.

Once VIN Info booking is recorded, you should be able to see the vehicle matched to a ship, even though that ship may not yet have left port..

Cheers AllyPally matched and loaded on the Salome docks in Port Kembla 2/6....that gives the dealer 13 days to deliver inside of the 60 day clause and if delivered as now anticipated then it will be just 2weeks short of 6 Months from first ordered to delivery

I am looking forward to taking it for a drive.

Thanks

It will likely take 2 weeks to get to the dealer once it arrives at port, going through prix.
