I had a Subaru years ago that devloped some rust around the windscreen. I took into the panel beaters for repairs and they told me the rust was caused by replacing the windscreen. When the damaged screen was removed they cut the silicon with a stanley knife but cut too deep and cut through to the bare metal and six months later the rust was showing.
Once it was repaired there was no more trouble.
Now I worry a bit about another broken screen, I might even want to inspect the frame after after the screen has been cut out.
Cheers
Steve

i'm looking at replacing the floor anyway as i want to add a fridge slide and other tie downs so raising it a few mm shouldn't be an issue.

We are planning an outback trip and I am a bit worried about not having a proper spare.

They have them but will only sell as a set of 4.

Anyone else in the Brisbane area want just one 18" Laredo rim.

I've ended up with the spare mag in the hole the other way over and the floor then sits flat and shuts fine. A bit of a pain with the stuff that goes in the centre of the wheel but I've broken that up and stored around/under the wheel with other tools etc.

JAX bowen hills supplies 20 aftermarket spyder monkeys to the leomuller group. He hangs on to the 18" after swapping the rims. No idea why they keep them, or why they cant sell them separately

Like this?
JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 18 INCH GENUINE WHEEL | Wheels, Tyres & Rims | Gumtree Australia Brisbane North West - Brisbane City | 1045524162

Otherwise this guy is sometimes selling them on gumtree, not sure if he sells as sets or individual:

I'll be selling a set of 4 with original rubber and TPMS sensors soon.....

Graham, This is what I did with mine. I can get the spare out without removing the drawer . I had the drawer made to my specs and I covered it with carpet. I also made the fridge slide to the exact size suit my 40lt fridge.

Will the MY14 take a bigger fridge freezer than a 40ltr.

We were looking at a 60 or 65 Ltd just don't think the rear had enough depth.

Cheers

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

You are probably right. I only have about 100mm gap between the back of the drawer and the rear seat.

WK2Doug you are up on a drawer so I'm hoping that a slide set on the floor may be able to accommodate some thing larger?

Cheers
