It does look almost OEM, the black on black bullbar. Still not sue of the gaps between the radar dome. Would have thought they could have done something there,. Mesh perhaps?
In regard to those Vernoms, I thought you were giving them to me.

I put mesh in behind the gaps on mine.

Now all I am waiting for is LightForce to pony up the Venom spot lights I won almost 2 months ago. NOT impressed.

Looks good.

You also need to consider the voltage drop between the battery and that socket... the sensor is going to be reading a lower voltage than that of the battery when the fridge is running, however the difference will be nil when the fridge stops. This can lead to a constant cycling of the monitor if the window between the upper and lower voltages is inadequate.

Consider a higher "lower" setting with the largest margin between the "upper" threshold... then test / monitor / adjust.

Cheers,
Steve

I tapped into the supply to the rear power connector for a trigger voltage - it is a VERY thin wire. Maybe 3mm.

It is funny that you and allypally mentioned the mesh. My new neighbour saw it and said the same thing. The more I look at it the more I agree. It4vette do you have photos you can/have posted? Would like to see them.

I posted a photo on this thread at post 11133. It's not a good photo because they are set back, but if you zoom right in you can just see the grill. I like to think of it as a temporary fix because it is plastic drain grate tied in with cable ties. But it seems pretty solid. I can show you if we meet up in Alice. I'll send a pm.

Thanks, checked out the photo, I may have to head to Bunnings this morning and see what I can come up with.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Why not go to Supercheap and get some of the alloy expanded mesh the ricers use? You and Russell could go halves... it'd look slick.

Cheers,
Steve
